Is there not enough interest/money to throw together a spec Mustang class to run before Indy road courses or something? I would love to see that, and if the Camaro/Challenger weren't so much larger it would be great to see a pony T/A type class again.

Unfortunately there was not a shortage of low/mid tier Japanese RWD coupes/hatches back in '89 (new 300zx, turbo rx7, turbo supra, new miata) like we're experiencing now, so the underpowered 240sx got lost in the shuffle.

Does Audi provide anything in the US with a combination of "R", "S", or "Avant" anymore? I've lusted after S4 avants for years but compromised (read: am too poor to afford) for an A3 S-line but have been disappointed at the lack of wagon performance that was once such a draw for me to Audi.
