Jesus, is this a joke? Good God, that is appallingly stupid. The only way it could have been worse is if they had chosen to call creative people 'creatives' because that's now apparently a perfectly acceptable noun.
This deserves ALL the upvotes …
*Googles 'Marei the prostitute from Game of Thrones'*
I have both soundtracks and I listen to the Pulp Fiction one far more often. Reservoir Dogs has some great tracks, but I need to skip the dialogue extracts from the film because frankly they're sort of annoying to listen to (they're great in the film but out of that context, no so much)
Did I imagine it or did I read a while back that Angela Lansbury is joining the show? if so, then surely her spin-off would be Maester She Wrote
Keepin' It in the Family: A TLC reality show about Jamie and Cersei Lannister and their kids
*Ser Horatio stands over body of Ros the prostitute*
"Looks like this was one flesh-house worker …"
*stands back to allow camera gratuitous lingering shot of her crotch*
"… who didn't see her customer coming."
[YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!]
*doffs cap in respect*
He was my favourite part of the first season and I was seriously bummed when he was killed
do it as mockumentary like The Thick of It
*Ser Horatio stands over body of man who has been simultaneously frozen and burnt to death by blood magic*
"By the old gods and the new, I do declare that it looks like Ser Firefrost here …"
*takes off sunglasses*
"has been iced … and fired!"
[YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!]
*featuring Dragons*
Balls of the Spider?
"Fairooz is the woman with long grey curly hair"
A Stripes reference? Well played, sir, well played indeed.
Obligatory: Good amount of tits; not enough dragons …
Watched Kong: Skull Island but gave up halfway through. It's just not very good, the effects are a bit dodgy and tonally it's all over the place. Is it a piss-take on King Kong or Apocalypse Now or both? An anti-war monster film or a wise-ass Vietnam war movie parody?
Good cast but they're wasted.
em, The A.V. Club?
ah yes, the famous Martin Amis review when he accused Harris of 'going gay for Hannibal' … will try to find it. was it for the guardian? or the obeserver? or something else?
