The “mashed potatoes” part is fucking hilarious.
That is EXACTLY what I said. Exactly!
In high school I raced my friend in his stock ‘96 4.6 Mustang GT vs my bolt on ‘95 5.0 with a pair of doughnuts on the back. I still beat him while spinning and spending 1st gear sideways looking at the road through my driverside window instead of the windshield.
Like you, I was flat on my back underneath my Camaro with the transmission on the ground and the start of the work week looming in a few hours. I was a little late for that day, but my Monday morning drive was with a Yank 3500 stall behind that LS1. It was glorious.
Love me some turd gens! This is similar to how I’d ultimately like to set up my ‘98 Z28, but maybe with a T56 swap instead of the stalled auto currently in the tunnel.
I swing by the pay’n’spray when it isn’t busy or venture out to one of the rarely used ones if I want to go during prime time on a sunny day. As long as it’s slow enough not to have lines I use my bucket and mitt.
The TJ is to Jeep what the 993 is to Porsche. It was the final iteration of a formula that lasted decades with just enough evolution to keep it current and relevant. The last holdout before the crew had to go back to the drawing boards.
That “battle ship” grey color is an alltime favorite. They use something similar on the UPS freight trucks and I’ve always wanted to paint something that color.
I never knew being a proper noun was a deciding factor in this. Learn something new every day!
I think this is a legitimately attractive design. Sure the foglight area looks like a pair of mandibles, but it works. It has enough style not to be bland, but not so much it looks awkward. I dig.
If I had this Supra I’d trade it for a years worth of coffee.
This. In my jeans.
The C4 Corvette “bread box” is a horrible goiter on an interior that already needs all the help it can get. It was originally designed to house a passenger airbag that didn’t come until the 1994 (4 years into the interior update). The aftermarket has developed a delete/glovebox to remedy this, but as far as GM was…
Wow. That is actually really nice looking. Simple!
