There’s some drone footage posted here. I’m still seeing engines in these cars, which is something I was really curious about. my ‘98 Z28's LS1 spun a bearing, so I’d love to pluck one of these and help that knock go away.

When I visited PR a couple years ago, I couldn’t believe how many AE86's there were driving around. They’re dirt cheap too! I’ve considered importing one stateside many times.

LOL!!!!! I was wondering where this story was going and I’m glad I stuck it out. This was hilarious. Thanks, Hoser.

I read through twice to make sure I didn’t miss it, but what sort of racing do they do on gravel?

Came here to post Christine. I see we’re in good hands.

LOL!!!!!! The term “sportsball” piqued my interest and garnered notice, then you go and do this. Thank God I just swallowed my last gulp of water before reading it.

When we finish navigating the labyrinth that is immigration and we’re finally able to split time between the states and Mexico, getting one of these suckers is up there on my priority list. It would be perfect for zipping around cities and the back country alike.

Thank you! Any time now. Today is week 38. Ya know.. I don’t really sleep much anyway while my wife could get sucked into a tornado and never open an eye. I’ve a feeling I’ll be on the night shift again for the first time since college. I’m cool with that.

Absolutely. I just didn’t think it would take red line bouncing and thousands of miles sideways for a decade, especially considering the glass jawed 10-bolt and the weak knees 4L60E. I can’t imagine what you could do with a 9" and a 4L80.

I used to absolutely hate that kid and refused to watch his channel, but to be honest he has won me over.

I used to get irked about things like this, and to an even further extend, Youtubers like WhistlinDiesel who destroy vehicles for fun, but lately I’ve come to realize that cool stuff gets destroyed every day for lesser reasons.

Rock on! I’ll be going with my wife to her 37 week appointment today. Any time now and I’ll be in the club with you. Congratulations Pops.

I dig it. You’re seeing the car posted up in it’s element rather than careening through a field of sunflowers, staged on the tarmac next to a leer jet or parked precariously next to a waterfall as a well to do couple drinks an entire bottle of vino on a picnic blanket. I don’t care what the background looks like; I

This is an amazing example of what can be done with this platform and it’s almost exactly how I would build one myself, except the black paint. It may be my favorite color, but I wouldn’t want it on a truck I intend to take off road and occasionally haul with.

Junebug, my ‘98 Z28 never ceased to amaze me with the abuse she could put up with. After putting near 100,000 miles on it myself, I finally spun a rod bearing at around 170,000 miles, and while that may not seem like much, this was after a decade of daily driving that including:

I’ve never heard of a crankshaft cradle before so I had to do some research. So rather than individual main caps they run a one piece, girdle-type deal such as the one attached here? You learn something new every day!

You know what.. I didn’t catch that watching this as a kid and always wondered how in the world Mike had that 964 Turbo. Now it all makes sense. He comes from money. He’s like Bruce Wayne who chose to sign up with the P.D .rather than go full on bat suit.

I’m having trouble finding a definitive photo of what these seats actually look like. Anyone have a link?
