I served a two year mormon mission in Italy. Missionaries only call home twice a year, Mother’s Day and Christmas and the only other communication is a chance to check and send emails on a weekly basis. Needless to say, I was extremely excited to see my family (this is how I justified posting this in a holiday thread)…
