Yeah, it did feel cheap that not only is she even more powerful than before, but its how she got more powerful. You figure "oh she's destroyed now, new story arc," and instead, its like "oh, now she's even more powerful. For some reason that makes no sense."

"Well, but LeVar and I were going to pool ours for the fuzzy troll pencil topper."

But I imagine Disney has a storyline for Kallus - maybe he redeems himself and becomes "good". I don't think this was just a throwaway episode.

Yep, they could do that - or he could become a spy for the rebels. Lots of stuff to do with his character. But him joining the rebels could be interesting, though I kind of feel they did that already with Rex. Unlike Kallus, Rex was and is a good guy, but there was an initial bit of mistrust from the crew. They might

Perhaps they are setting up the Kallus character for a future redemption, a la Vader.

I know it Disney and a kid's show at heart still. But in real life, in actual war, Kallus would be a prisoner or dead. Even good guys have to do what needs to be done, and you don't just let a senior officer go back to his side.

The drunk talk scene was some of the funniest Simpsons this season.

New York.

I forgot about him. At the time, I expected him to have an impact, but he was a no-show in the finale. Maybe they had a scene or two, but cut it to save time (no pun intended). I guess Time Baby really is dead.

In the end, they all did work together to bring down Bill - destiny. Just not with the zodiac. The Pines family couldn't have done it without the others providing distractions.

As a producer and artist, Alex wanted to do, well what he did. But a network's expectations are that sometimes you have to throw a bone to the show's fans, or you risk alienating them (e.g., "Lost"). I imagine its a tough balancing act.

"By the way, Stan, thanks for putting our kids in mortal danger with your weird-ass town. We left them with you to get a little fresh air, not fight inter-dimensional demons."

Now open your algebra books to page 20. . .

Actually, it was Stan who traumatized small children. The Shack itself had little to do with it :)

I think Stan wasn't hiding out for himself, he wanted the family to hide out with him - that was his motivation. Plus he liked being the one in charge :) But once he realized they were going to fight anyways, he finally joined them.

They helped defeat Bill. Maybe they got time off for that :)

I thought it was just a continuity error.

Maybe the memory eraser gun gives off some sort of residual radiation that made everyone forget :)

The important thing: Shmebulock was saved in the end.

X-Files has shown many terrifying things, but Mulder line-dancing in cowboy gear moved things to a new high of terror.
