I think airing GB and Disney airing GF on the same day was simply a President's Day coincidence, as a bunch of new shows aired today.

Unfortunately, its become the "in" thing to bash the Simpsons. Maybe it isn't what it used to be (no show would be after even 5 or 6 seasons, let alone 27), but its still not a terrible way to spend half an hour.

I find it… difficult to swallow that Purrgills’s ability to jump into hyperdrive has never been observed before, especially if the “rumor” is that their ability was inspired the first uses of hyperdrives on ships.

I'd have to look again, but from the way the scene was shot, they were only a few seconds behind the monster and they had a long line of sight to the porta-john. Not important, just seemed a bit odd.

Great episode, though I did have to wonder, when they saw the monster run into the porta-john, opened the door and there is a dude in there, didn't they stop and say "wait, the monster went in there, where is here?" I mean, they saw the monster run in there, right?

I disagree. It was a bit unsettling. If I were Finn and Jake, I would be discouraged at how easily Prismo altered Ice Finn's life and (probably) how easily he could alter theirs too. Just a little cut n paste. Makes it sort of seem like life is pretty random - or maybe not even the life they were supposed to have.

Series previews show that Ahsoka (finally) realizes Anakin is Vader and it appears they fight too. Probably in the season finale. That should up your interest factor :)
