So, no more cop shows, no more medical shows, no more cartoons about family life because, after all, they've all been done already?

And 28 seasons and 700 episodes of Star Trek are not an emotional connection for its fans?

Yes, you need a degree in theoretical physics - and a flow chart - to figure some of this out.

A series of "official" books answered a lot of those questions about Voyager and continued events in the other series too. Some of them are actually pretty good.

I agree about the "Janeway-Seven-Doctor show" thing, but the finale I thought was decent. Though it was a bit rushed at the end, almost like they ran long and cut most of the last act. I would have liked to see more of the homecoming too.

Not to mention having a borderline bi-polar captain. Seriously, who would want to mess with Janeway?

The only time it worked for me was with the Borg episode - because it tied it into the First Contact movie and made sense from a timeline perspective. Though, when re-watching Picard's Enterprise encountering the "unknown" Borg for the "first time", it still had us asking the question "what the hell, didn't Starfleet

I think that third year, full season Xindi plot line was what sealed ENT fate. Going a full season (or longer) on a single plot worked for Deep Space Nine but the Xindi thing just wasn't interesting enough to sustain a full season.

After 28 seasons of 700-ish episodes and 10 movies, I think it would be an injustice not to do something with all that "history." The new movies are enjoyable enough, but the TV series created a lot of storytelling and it would be a shame to not do another series and keep all that going.

Ironically, the last season of Enterprise was actually its best. If it had started out that way, it might have gotten its full seven years.

Not surprising the film tanked its first weekend. People are so fed up about politics, and the last thing they want to see is a movie about politics.

I miss Futurama. How about round 3, Cartoon Network or Comedy Central? Anybody?

And see a dude's junk on a huge movie screen? (reverse Porky's, right?)

I've seen some other footage too, but nothing really conclusive. I'm always willing to read a bigfoot or UFO story (its sort of a guilty pleasure), because its good to keep an open mind - but not so open that your brains fall out.

Unfortunately, you can never prove that something DOESN'T exist, meaning that myths can live forever.

While zoologists are finding new species almost every week, Bigfoot is a hard sell. A large ape-like creature in North America, with a population big enough to maintain genetic stability, and yet not even a body after decades of looking?

While its a positive step for Hollywood to start producing more female lead movies, can't they at least pick some original concepts, instead of just rehashing what guys already did?

"Never mind the fact the Inquisitors didn’t “sense” Zeb’s presence in the ship right above their heads–they didn’t even hear Ezra’s very loud whispers towards Sabine, nor notice them staring up at the ceiling."

"Is this a symbol of repressed homosexuality, or is it just further proof that Cartman’s an especially sick kind of narcissist, the kind who desires to literally fuck himself?"

"Obviously these shows aren’t comparable, primarily because Teen Titans Go! doesn’t get two craps about anything, really."
