I don't completely buy the Gideon turnaround. More likely, Gideon went off to fight Bill because Gideon wants to BE Bill, not just serve him.

The opening credits remind me of that Star Trek Enterprise two parter, where they changed the opening credits to match the alternate evil universe.

Why read reviews? Um, because I like to hear what other people think, in the review and in the comments? And you will permit me to state my own opinions in reply?

The Simpsons are still better than 90 percent of the crap on TV. But people got spoiled by its genius in the early days and now think its the "in" thing to bash the Simpsons.

Last years was better. I loved A Clockwork Yellow.

The Rick and Morty Simpson's coach gag was pretty great too.

*sigh* I miss Ren and Stimpy. Not the later, "adult" version, which was disappointing, but the original PG-13 version of the early 90s.

Even with continuity, I think they still write episodes within the week. That's why there's no show plot description until the day before.

Grew up watching Clone Wars?

I believe the proper term is "projection of power".

A lot of the people in the Star Wars universe are British too. Hmmmm. . .

. . .but it’s based on the premise that the Galactic Empire is a more efficient, more regulated, and overall superior system of government. . .

Actually Hater v. Wander episodes always reminds me of Bugs v. (anyone he wanted to screw with). Except Bugs Bunny did it on purpose, while Wander has no clue.

Not to mention that if you only addressed story arcs in every episode of every series, we'd never have a series last more than a year or two. Gotta have filler if, for any reason, to slow down the intensity of the arc before the show burns itself out.

Maybe the episode ran short and they needed filler time?

In Lisa the Greek, whenever I see that episode, all I can think of, as a Buffalo fan, is "wide right".

Booooo. (I mean it like booing something bad, not trying to be scary)

I'm too lazy to look and see if those references were actually the segments for ToH next week. I hope they are, that would make the self-reference even better.

Yuck. (I can count on two hands the number of self-referential gags like that that haven’t make me roll my eyes.)

The show wants to be "Archer", and while it has potential, it isn't there yet.
