Dude, no joke...I would play #14. But then again, I guess I need some time...on my own...

@OperationTophat: Man, you're right, what the hell was I thinking? And that one part in Doom where it went into FPS mode? Take THAT Orson Welles!

@Shinta: Yeah, that's really the only one that was tolerable.

@Legion329: I'm interested in the rebuttal canceling the last throw rule. I haven't encountered this, but it sounds quite different from the shoot-till-you-miss overtime rebuttal rule we employ.

@ppppp: In theory, yes. But when looking at video game to movie adaptations, if you applied that rule then 100% of them would never have been made. Which would have been just fine by me.

@mabadaba: We've unofficially outlawed bouncing just cause we deem it "weak," but it still gets done occasionally. When it is allowed, the rule we usually follow is if you bounce and make it, the team takes away two cups. But if the other team slaps the ball away, you're penalized a cup and usually called a "little

@rpm285sm: I'm in the DC metro area, a strange part of the country where the south meets the north and regional rules are a clusterfuck, so you've always gotta ask for clarification on house rules before you start.

Oh, and while we're on beer pong...I love seeing the little regional rules that different places have. Some play with 6 cups, others with 10. Some play reracks, some don't. I know one rule that infuriates me and always struck me as "amateur" was the one where like if someone shoots, misses, but the ball bounces

After many many years of playing beer pong, my friends and I decided to take it to the next level. Occasionally we'll have 200 cup nights. You have 3 to 4 people per team, and the cups are pretty much just arranged in a giant triangle that meets in the center. Some of the cups have numbers written on the bottom,

@spiderweb1986: Probably one of the greatest, most inspirational things I've seen on network television ever. Class act all the way. Can you imagine Jay Leno even attempting anything as uplifting as that? Not at all.

Kotaku's review seemed to be the...friendliest of all the ones I read. Most of the others were downright brutal.

@Interstella5555: I know this sounds cliche and is probably the advice you've gotten from everyone, but in this economy I say go for it. The job market will probably slowly but steadily improve over the course of 2010 so if you're really miserable you can just look for something else later in the year. But right

@chewblaha: Yeah that movie is 100% incredible. I have a huge backlog of movies from 2009 I still have to watch, but so far Hurt Locker is probably at the top of my Best of 2009 list. It's the perfect example of a movie saying something by NOT directly saying it. I love those sorts of themes in movies.

@RockyRan: Yeah I'm not a huge Batman fan either and absolutely LOVED AA. I mean, I like Batman, but I never followed it with the religious and fanatic determination that others seem to have. I was fully expecting the game to either suck or at least be ho-hum, and even laughed to myself when a GameStop employee

@Kyolux is 3 months away from freedom: I actually had a lot of time this summer waiting for my current job to start, and actually went back and played all the Final Fantasies again. Took a hell of a lot of time, but it was worth it and gave me a new perspective into how the games hold up now. I'd love to go into

@denki: That guy IS an asshole. Although I suppose I should give him props for turning his life around. 20+ years ago he was flying drunkenly through the clouds, crapping out foul spikey bastards. Now look at him, he's got a steady job and even helps others who have lost their way on the kart tracks. I guess he

@ithyphallus, bonks morrigan: "Could we get these guys to work on a new North American Xbox 360 version? There's still many bugs and there're no expansions. " Note the key word "new," and the last sentence.

@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: In addition to the VVVVVV soundtrack (which is awesome and super cheap), you can also DL for FREE other songs he has on that link minty provided. It's totally awesome, I just got the entire soundtrack to my work commute next week.

@Kuwabara Kazuo: He's a dipshit, and has done more harm than good to almost anything he touches. He's like King Midas, if everything Midas touched turned into a steaming pile of ignorance and bigotry.
