When my friends and I go fishing I like to make us one handed, boat-friendly sandwiches, which consists of cold cuts, cheese, mayo, mustard, and pickles in a sandwich roll. I cut the rolls in half, wrap them in a plastic wrap, and throw them all in a large freezer bag so they’re ready for the cooler.

Can we just not do this to beer please? If your diet is generally a healthy one and you use good judgement when drinking alcohol, knowing how many calories are in your drink is absolutely unnecessary.

I enjoy a good bourbon or craft beer like any other guy, but I’m at a point in my life where binge drinking just isn’t pleasurable (or healthy) anymore. That’s not to say I won’t go out with friends to a bar to watch a game and have a few drinks but I’m always mindful of what I eat and drink so next morning I don’t

Sausage & peppers + lager is an excellent pairing. My favorite lager atm is from Ex Novo and it’s suitably named “The Most Interesting Lager in the World.”

A popsicle will definitely make a great dessert for my off days but as soon as I’m done with my workout I practically devour my protein smoothies so I don’t think it’s going to be practical in that situation since my body is desperately craving food for fuel. But I’ll definitely give one of those recipes a shot and

As I started reading this blog my attention shifted to the left of the page where I read the words “Chicken salt is the Australian seasoning you should put on Everything” and impulsively clicked on that link to learn more about chicken salt and why I should be putting it on everything. Now that I’m back and finished

I have a fairly old HP Laptop that I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 on and I opted not to download a free Antivirus app just because I was afraid those apps are going to slow my system down. So now I have Windows Defender running in the background without any intrusions, plus downloaded Malwarebytes Free

That sounds amazing. I’ve got a box of Samoas in the cupboard and North Coast PranQster in the fridge so I’ll definitely give it a shot. Now if only we can squeeze in a scoop of vanilla ice cream in there we’ll have us a complete dessert.

Lately I’ve been hooked on making Chipotle style burrito bowls at home. For each bowl I start with half cup each of brown rice and black beans topped off with whatever veggies I have on hand. For the protein it’s either grilled chicken or steak, along with some diced avocados, and a little salsa to give it a kick.

Lemmy: “49% motherf**ker. 51% son of a bitch.”

Ugh, I can’t seem to cast to Chromecast with the Windows app. I guess I’ll stick to the website and iPhone app. Also, if I have my playback setting on High won’t that give me a higher video quality anyway?

I just want to say “thank you” to Lifehacker for these helpful Windows 10 articles. I managed to do a clean install on a 6 year old HP Pavilion DV6 laptop and after doing some minor tweaks I’ve got it running like new again. In the beginning I was noticing some lag and was annoyed that my system was running slow but

Adding an extra yolk seems wasteful and a bit excessive, especially if you’re like me and eat eggs 2 or 3 times a week. I personally like to add dairy fat in the form of shredded cheese or whole milk and use the same cooking method described in the video. As a kid I never liked runny eggs but now that’s the only way

Yeah, I figured if I have Windows Defender and Firewall running (along with Ublock Origin and Disconnect for my web browsers) and I keep my OS and applications up to date I should be fine, so long as I practice safe browsing habits and not click on those Canadian Pharmacy emails that offer me 80% savings on Viagra.

Does anyone know if Windows Defender has improved any with the release of Windows 10? After doing a clean install of the OS on my 5 year old laptop I opted not to install Avast Free Antivirus again and kept Windows Defender running for real time protection and installed as Malwarebytes Free as a backup for malware

A gym membership isn’t as pricey as people make it out to be. If you’re serious about getting healthy isn’t spending $1 a day worth it to reach your fitness goal? Sure, you have to pay an initial start up fee but if you shop around there are certain days of the year gyms offer discounts for signing up.

I have a 5 y.o. HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with 1st gen Intel Core i3 processor and 4 GB RAM after doing a clean install of Windows 10 and changing some settings recommended by Lifehacker my computer is running as fast as it did back when I first bought it. The only problem I have is every now and then my computer slows

Does what I eat have any effect on my progress in lifting heavier weights? I’m a skinny guy and I started doing the StrongLifts 5x5 workout a few months ago, where your goal is to add 5lb each workout, but I’ve been stuck at a certain weight for the past couple of weeks now.

I always keep a bag of Granny Smith medium sized apples in the fridge. I either slice them up and eat them throughout the day with a handful of walnuts and almonds or dice them and sue them as a topping for oatmeal. They’re also great sauteed with cinnamon and maple syrup.

From what I’ve come to understand iPhones start slowing down when you update the IOS of much older models because the hardware can’t keep up with the new software so if I want to extend the life of my iPhone 6 I’m thinking I can continue updating the software up until the last of the IOS 9 updates roll out to cover
