Does this means Hercule Poirot is in the public domain now?

One good thing about this TV adaptation: book 10 was the most boring one because it was mainly Elayne and Aviendha taking baths and doing politics, which is very boring to read. It makes for a boring read, but, depending on the actresses, it could be interesting to watch.
