The first Episode were a bit confusing for some people (not for me).
At the top of it, the series needs you to have patience and give it a chance.

Both of these characters are revealing more of their Backgrounds overtime so you can get to know their fears, their wants and their "musts". Unlike other series, These characters aren't as "cliche" as it looks like in the first episodes.

When the non english speaking are Meeting for the first time, they speak their own language. This is a indication that actually every character speaks their own language only but it is "translated" to english for the Viewer so they won't have to use subtitles. :)
