An RPG could be interesting and since you know that the game would either be playable without any figures or would come packed with a figure or two, that character (probably Mario, maybe somebody else...strangely Pit might fit better with him being an angel and all...) will be the primary character and as such will be

I'd love a "Nintendo Infinity" as it were. That or a game like Subspace Emissaries that puts all these Nintendo characters in some sort of epic story too. The biggest problem with a story based game is that your character is really hard to involve in the story because there are potentially dozens of characters who

To be fair, at least one of the Skylanders for 3DS lets you store your characters on the cart for travelling. You only need to re-use the figure to update stats on the chip if you want to play on another system.

I think others have gotten across the point I was making, but thanks for the condescending, pompous attitude. Hadn't had somebody be an ass to me on the internet today, so I was beginning to wonder if I actually WAS on the internet.

Because a lot of kids are not going to know that. It's new to them.

Or give us a "handheld" that we can use on our TV optionally. Maybe even give it a dock with some extra processing power so when you play on your TV you can have the high quality console style graphics.

Word was that they were combining their console and handheld development teams since the handheld side has always seemed to be their strong suit. Has me optimistic that perhaps they can straighten out the console side of things, but it also has me concerned that the console side might scuttle the handhelds...

Everyone forgets the cancel option. My Toyota has the cruise controls in an independent stick and I love it. I can control everything with the flick of my pinky super easy, including cancelling by pulling forward. I almost never brake to control my CC. I pull maneuvers on the highway where I'll have someone slow

Yeah, I drive almost exclusively interstate or state highways. Largely straight shots where water rarely pools. I cruise in that all day long.

Sorry, I had bigger games in mind when I made that comment. I meant new games not old emulated games.

I wish everybody would allow for cross-platform purchases...or at the very least pay like $5 per additional platform or something.

It's not the sole reason I'd pick PS4 over XBone, but it is there. It's not about the DRM anyhow. It was the "internet is a must" that pissed me off more than anything since most of the area where I live has little to no internet service.

Agreed on both counts. If I get Live, it will be on a monthly basis. I'd much rather do PC than PS4 or One though. I've got my Wii U and 3DS, so PC would give me access to almost anything I'd want to play.

Yeah, problem is that I'm pretty much done with XBox other than possibly TF. I'm not getting a One (I shall never forget what they tried to pull), but one day I'll get PS4 and PS+...

Yeah, I canned my XBL at the first of the year, but I'm tempted to renew JUST for this game.

Yes, they did pretty much say that in the video. Still called Tomodachi Life for the time being. Marketing might convince them to change it, but keeping the Japanese version may be deemed beneficial to marketing.

This obviously won't work for everyone, but my son's best social setting is our church. He plays with kids his age (2 by the way), but he's also really associate well with a lot of older kids, young adults, and especially the seniors in the church.

My brother was the same way up until recently (he's just turned 16). He's growing out of it. We all thought he was weird and my wife was always asking about it.

This is true in the end, but this approach is actually closer to that than what most people do. Most people give positive affirmation regardless of the effort or result. This at least approaches the idea of positivity for a reason.

That definitely helps. XP
