Yeah, I'm all for a glasses or even a contact version of this, but I'm not feeling anything that can actually interface with my brain. I've got a co-worker who pushes that pretty heavy, but I know that we'll figure out a way to hack the human.

My dad used to play like that and it annoyed the hell out of me. He doesn't play games at all anymore though...
At least not as quickly. A long term anti-vaccination movement could allow Diphtheria to surge as well, but over a much longer timeframe.
So? I've seen people who actually post hashtags to Facebook...directly...
I'm not sure Enterprise could have pulled out of it's downward spiral, but I totally agree that SG:U was taken before it's time. That show was really picking up some steam.
Yeah, I came up with an "idea" that was more involved and sofisticated than this a couple years ago...and to my knowledge it was all physically possible. It would have required significant programming and electronic work, but I think it was a viable solution.
Complex moving floors are not as big a problem as you think. I saw an article a couple years ago about an omnidirectional treadmill and the video they showed seem to show it working.
Is there any way we can replace her head? They body and wings look great, but I do not like her hair or face.
Must have filmed the scenes out of order...
I wonder if it wasn't just him being a smartass though all things considered.
Agreed. I doubt this has anything to do with it, but the pattern of the surges feels almost like when the wind blows in a heavy rain in spurts like that.
I'm in a similar boat. I work from home one day a week, but the rest of the week I go into the office. It depends on who you talk to in the company on how connected we need to be off hours, but my department head says to unplug when your work is done unless you know going in that you have a deadline or an emergency…
I don't know. Guess it's just me, but I never could get into Alphas. Maybe I didn't stick around long enough, but it just wasn't interesting to me.
Totally agree with Wil. I saw him post that and I felt a sense of bitterness there...a bitterness I share. Once Warehouse 13 is gone (and it's coming), I'm done with SyFy (I miss Sci-Fi...).
I'm not arguing the validity of the use of the term "hate crime" in this instance. Regardless, he cannot remove the implant (which had to have been in the letter) and the implant (as far as I've determined thus far) does not record anything only temporarily buffering images while it is processing the images. The…
Check this article and video out. Uploading memories to YouTube is not as far off as most people think.
It boils down to intent and sadly a few bad apples have ruined it for everyone.
I know it can happen, but the point is that it is not terribly likely. I hate that it happened to them, but it is a fluke of chance that it happened that way. And if anyone they meet personally bases their opinion of them, they are idiots for taking a meme seriously anyhow.
This is my feelings exactly. We are already to the point where we are constantly being watched by some electronic surveillance and people have been seeing things and talking about it for eons. The only difference now is that it is becoming technology based and I think that scares people more than the "loss of…
And that is there prerogative. Let's all face it, we are already being monitored all the time. If you don't like that, move somewhere rural or isolated, but you cannot deny the future.
