Yeah, they're pretty good…much better than the Sky shows.

Interesting, would explain a lot…good on him for getting them made, even if they were awful…

Honestly a think someone like Mackenzie Crook should have been cast as Rincewind, but totally with you on the Guards and Witches books…and glad I'm not the only one who remembers the rumoured Guards series. Still pissed that one never arrived…though Radio 4 did do an amazing dramatisation of the Guards books which I

No, sorry, just no…they were absolutely awful, totally missed the tone of the books and felt like a kids Saturday afternoon special. And whoever cast David Jason as Rincewind needs to be taken out back and shot for the good of the nation…

Please let this be nothing like the Sky efforts at Pratchett…

I have the feeling that a lot of the stuff in this is going to have call backs to season two of DD…though I'm not sure why you'd want to watch this if you "don't have the patience" for almost half of the shows leading up to it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I Dream of Genie, Bewitched and Beverly Hillbillies coming to a small screen near you soon…

Get out of my head…!

Yes please… Can we set it 15 years or so later and focus on Bobby making his way in the world as an adult, possibly having adopted Luannes kids (needs to have died off screen to pay proper tribute to Murphy) with Hank and Peggy dealing with retirement.

Will be interesting to see where they are taking it, could a trip to hell be Eugene's chance for redemption…

Yeah, Jesse clearly didn't mean to and regretted it as soon as he'd done it, but Eugene doesn't know that so it would still feel like a total betrayal from his point of view. You're right about Jesse seeming to have forgotten about it though, seems a bit odd that he would have dismissed it so easily…

Totally, great point, it's not just that he sent him to hell, it was a massive betrayal from the one person who had shown him some compassion and respect. It honestly would have "been a bit odd" had Jesse not been there…

Surely the man who sent him to hell would have quite a bit of significance in his life…

Probably closer to twenty million once you factor in the Poles, Romani etc.

Exactly, call it Tales of Megacity One or something, maybe even have Dredd running through it as a theme, even if just in news reports in the background, but ultimately have stories that are only linked by the setting and maybe a few cross over characters.

I really hope he does as he was an excellent Dredd and I loved the movie, but I can't help feeling that the TV series would be better making Megacity One the star with Dredd being a part of the stories told within it.

I think you'll find you were having a stroke…

Seriously, I wrote "With the exception of maybe King of the Hill" and decided to delete it after thinking about it and deciding they were still stereotypes. Far more real than The Simpsons totally, but stereotypes all the same…

Maybe so, but given it's their whole shtick it wouldn't make much sense for them to do otherwise.
