I’d say the interior errs more on the functional, non-ugly side of things - it doesn’t feel as tight as the interior of a 911 and isn’t as ‘plush’ as an Aston Martin, but it has nice enough feeling surfaces and doesn’t seem to rattle much. On the model I played around with most of the touchpoints were fine but

Forgot to say that also, yeah, I would say the regular C7 will have considerably softer suspension so it might be a closer comparison then - due to the rarity of the cars in my country I didn’t manage to test drive a non-Z06 model.

Not the reviewer, but while at a track day I had the luck to temporarily borrow in trade a V6 F-Type for my C7z06/z07. They’re very different; I personally didn’t like the F-Type much, as I found the suspension to be too soft and rolly and the front track didn’t communicate as much, which made the subjective handling

and yet it literally happened with me and many other people who all use a similar justification for buying an ACR or a Z06 over the alternatives

I bought a brand new manual Z06 at $101k and don’t get this thread’s contention that you need to spend an arbitrary amount of money on cars before your opinion on what transmissions other cars come with matters.

I would say that ‘other car people’ is often the worst thing about cars.

I was super excited to try a manual F Type but I actually ended up not liking it much.
