See, I agree, but I also have to accept that the problem is mine because I generally just don’t like rowdy public spaces. My solution? Stay away from them. If people being loud and tipsy bothers you then maybe don’t go on a wine train, you know? Try the library, or set up a private tour of some sort.

I read:
A Black Women's Book Club Was Kicked Off a White Train for Laughing

I mean, I definitely want to see it first, but I’m finding it hard to imagine a context in which a 35 year old sleeping with a 15 year old is “an affair” and not rape. I can see the argument that the 15 year old did not or no longer feels troubled by it, but I don’t see it not being rape... But like, I said, I’ll see

“Never thought I’d feel good about that, but it seems Britain has America beat when it comes to fussy, inartful, blaringly misogynistic film censorship.”

Lots of active verbs. I dig it. It’s a good apology.

Why do I get the sense that Jezebel is very, veeery disappointed this might not drag on any longer? (I love Nicki and Taylor so I’m just glad they might make up so I can stop feeling like an awkward child watching her parents fight.)

To be fair I don’t expect Tay to speak about industry racism. I just expect her to not insert herself into shit.

If you think we need compassion then why are you being a asshole all over this comments section? You want to put people in a “safe space” where you can lecture them like children?

Canada...the country that gave us Celine Dion and Nickleback. Sit the fuck down folks.

Chad Kroeger to the rest of the band: NOW IS OUR TIME GUYS. OUR NATION, OUR TIME!

They cannot see racism unless that person is in a KKK outfit lighting crosses on fire.

Listen, I get what you’re saying and I get what you think you’re trying to do, but first, don’t come at me and try to tone police me by telling me what words I should or shouldn’t be using, or when and how to use them.

Social Security doesn’t work like that. : /

I am so glad they are teaching you how to properly interact with patients at your school.

My dad was a smoker for about 45 years, and he said he first started because his parents were smokers. Grandpa died when my dad was very young (high school) and Dad started smoking because it was a sensory memory of his dad.

Didn’t you know that all smokers are basically moronic children who can only be gotten through to with insults? Obviously as soon as I light up a smoke I lose all right to be spoken to like a human being!

shut up. i assume you’re perfect.

Well first of all, often, what Ken said. (I don’t always hate myself, but when I do, I smoke. I should make a meme for that with that beer dude.)
It also really is legit a good stress relief (I know there are healthier stress reliefs, don’t lecture me anyone please :) ), it’s a social thing for those of us who are

Eh. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I’ve gotten to see some of the ways that people die, and I wouldn’t pick lung cancer. It tends to metastasize the the brain, and the things it does in there are not fun. *sad trombone*
