I don't get the obsession. Myself, I was raised better than that, my parents were clear about the history of slurs and that I was to respect people. I'm happy never hearing and never using any sort of slur.
Without reading the article it is important to address the systemic racism in our society, but I'm of the opinion that I'm happy seeing these guys cast out.
