Mike - interesting review. Looks like it may be a good secondary machine option for desktop-primary users.

A little wishful, perhaps, but I’ve been ever-so-slightly heartened by some of Nintendo’s recent actions. Take their online service, for example. Even though I doubt Nintendo will provide the quantity of games I would want, or do so in a timely fashion (and even though afaik we still don’t seem to know how long each

For me, good bacon should shatter when dropped. Stack slices in-between sheets of paper towel (good, absorbent paper towel) and microwave. Result is crispy, not rubbery.

I may have posted something similar on the Holiday Edition of “Ask Kotaku’s Staff Anything,” but I would love a crossover episode of the current cast of Idle Thumbs (Chris, Nick, and Jake) and Splitscreen - especially now that there is the possibility they would refer to you as “Delicious Dish.”

awesome - i didn’t start listening to Danielle and Rob until after that. I’ll definitely check it out.

Score. Also, sorry for using “guys” twice in one sentence. I’m really enjoying the increase in content from non-male staff.

Can you guys do some crossover content with the Idle Thumbs guys?

Other than Jason, with his book, who else at Kotaku has - to paraphrase Kirk’s now classic poop metaphor- a looming albatross to void?

Kirk, are you eating lunch right now (being on the west coast)? If so, could you please stop for a moment to describe your meal to us using gaming metaphors?

Would it be worth beginning Destiny for the first time at this stage of its life cycle? Can it be a pick up and play for someone who has limited time to put into it?

  • I like linear games. If if not’s completely open, then don’t give me more than 1 direction to explore. Because I will, and it probably won’t be worth it.

In my mind, I think I’ll dig into Shadow of Mordor and Undertale from the recent steam sale, play some classic NES, and then try to get through a good chunk of 999 on iOS so I can’t get to the next two Zero Escape games.

My initial reaction to the mother was probably a lot like the initial reaction she must have had to her daughter’s stream. But, by the end of the story, the thought “mother of the year” actually popped into my mind. Kudos to a parent who found a way to connect with her kid and Kudos for an interesting read (nice

What are you doing right now in addition to answering questions?

Who will Arya kill next?

What video game / anime / early 90s sitcom do you pretend you are inside of as you listen to Kirk’s jazzy sax Splitscreen intro?
