So if someone wants to haul their family and their boat or camper that’s a problem for you?

Passenger miles per gallon” in large SUVs and full size vans can make a Prius look like a gas-guzzler.

Is this a thing? Hating the warthog? I tapped out of Halo as soon as I finished the campaign on 3...well, and I guess I played ODST but it was a matter of principle, like something I should do, not something I enjoyed doing, because I thought that game became very fossilized in a post-Call of Duty world (and now I

Also... and this may be an unpopular opinion, but can they make the damn things guns fireable from the driver’s seat. Sometimes I want to run and gun and not have to switch seats or wait for someone else to jump on board (mostly wait for a driver, because I want to be the gunner).

Ooh, I’ll be that guy. Torque wins races because it is a real world physical force. Horsepower as it is used today is nothing more than a glorified math problem that uses torque as its base. ((RPM*Torque)/5252)=hp

Looks more like Puma to me.

The Warthog handles much better in Forza 3 Horizon. You can also paint it and change the wheels. However, no mowing guns or elite enemies to squash. We make our trade offs.

You bought the bottom of the barrel and then have an issue with longevity? Umm, how’s the Yugo running, still start first try every time?

Maybe if you are going to say that wiring can cause LEDs to burnout early, you should tell us why or what to look for. Also, how the hell did you not know that dimmers could cause issues. Every non-dimmable LED bulb I’ve ever seen is very clear that they do not work with dimmers.

Old wiring should not be causing problems, even knob and tube. If your wiring is causing problems it would mean corrosion or wire failure is causing resistance which is an unsafe situation that can result in a fire.

Exactly! The article explained the “what”, but didn’t deliver on the promised “why”... :(

Lighting Design Professional here. There is absolutely no reason to suggest anyone go back to using incandescent lighting.

Racing cars and bulding cars that can compete with super cars is a very expensive hobby. Everybody here has a bunch of disposable income they can piss away in part for personal gratification but also in part for status within their community. If you are looking for class warfare between the haves and have nots,

Excellent point (although repeating it 3x wasn’t necessary) (I kid, I know, Kinja).

I actually kind of expected you to show up here with this sentiment. I’m guessing by your name you actually take a Jeep on trails from time to time.

for the sake of some pretend-drama on a Netflix show

There are all sorts of interesting ways to make a competition without making it important who wins (and hence without setting up some bullshit us vs them mentality). Set them up to do a reverse slalom through cones. See who can drive the fastest around a track without losing the pizza left on the roof.

Never go full Mustang.

“I am a‘17 GT with the Performance Pack.

Interesting. The Burnout series was one of the greatest franchises I’ve ever played. They mostly came out when I was in my 20s, well after I had owned a car (in fact, I was on my second car at the time) and had been driving for several years. Are you saying that, somehow, if I had played those games when I was in my
