But that’s part of the problem: People are totally confused as to what a “chemical” is. So now they assume longer, scarier names are “bad” and must be avoided at all costs.

For the better, I think. Some of those ideas got incorporated into LAND and ... blecch.
It's the gritty reboot of TekWar we've all been waiting for.
I actually have to back you up here. I've been buying those "Extra Meaty" behemoths for a little while now, and they've consistently cooked up to be juicy without being super bloated or fat (and without losing a ton of water weight in the pan), and the skin has been crisp and managed to hang on to spices and flavor.…
They are both sci-fi. The first is sci-fi/horror. The second is sci-fi/action.
Interesting, within my circle, Alien is considered the superior film by a mile. Most think Aliens is fun but not in the same league as Alien.
I know this is not the majority opinion, but for me Alien>Aliens. Both excellent in their own way, but you can't beat the slow burn of the original.
Oh and I also worked at a mob owned Rhode Island pizza place... the stories from there... (the owner asking me to be his personal assistant for 10k that summer meaning I'd sleep with him and be his arm candy at clubs, Pauly D pre Jersey Shore trying to steal from me and feel me up at the same time at the register, a…
I once went on a date with a guy who stiffed a waitress on her tip and I never spoke to him again. Please explain to me how someone marries and has children with someone willing to throw a chicken at another human being who is waiting on them? Also, the manager from that story was a huge asshat.
I remember when climate change was simply called — weather. And don't worry I grew up when we were scared of the impending ice age. I'm not impressed. And when a blog post's title is: A UN Panel Reaffirms..I think it's fair game to state that the UN has poor judgement. Not sure what your cardinals analogy is trying…
Competion makes everything better.
IMO, I don't think there's a situation where I'd rather have an AMD CPU at the moment. Most games perform better on a lower-priced i5 or an i3 than on an equivalently priced AMD chip.
That's fair enough, I can understand your choice to go with AMD, however can't in good faith recommend what I see as a worse product for the money on a site which is supposed to be as close to objective as possible.
Mantle still has me unimpressed, where is the promise of 10x performance through some bizarre voodoo magic. Although, anything that takes away from Microsoft dominance can't be bad—why should I require Windows to play games on a PC. Also, it would be nice to see what Mantle can do with low CPU overhead. As well,…
ChooseMyPC chose the Intel Celeron G1820 2.7GHz Dual-Core ($48)with a PowerColor Radeon R9 280 3GB TurboDuo ($170). Not quit 1:4 but over 1:3.
You should be able to if it's a Chromecast. My 2008-vintage 47" LG powers my Chromecast just fine via its USB port. I believe Amazon says this isn't recommend with the Fire TV stick and that it's supposed to plugged directly to the wall.
RIP
Heck, around here parents drive their kids to the end of their driveway to wait for a bus that stops at each house. And these are older kids, too. I feel sad for them.
