I just run my quality prefs on handbrake and play on whatever device. Unless you are on an actual iPod or a low-grade Android tablet— your prefs for DVD will play fine.

You can buy a BR drive for your computer, and use the same programs to rip and process the HD discs. The drives themselves only cost about $70...
