Not especially unless you use oil. But any source heat from fossil fuels (or even wood) will generate some carbon monoxide (like gas clothes dryers). So even you burn natural gas, propane or oil you have to make sure the burners are cleaned etc... etc... so that your fuel burns cleanly.
