People should play those games for the ghost companion alone. One of the best Diablo-esque single player companions out there, complete with configurable behaviors, buys her own potions, has unique skill trees, and actually has meaningful dialogue!

Those parts make it unreadable for me. It’s a shame I had such high hopes for it but volumes 2 and on just crushed it.

The general populus act like this, though. There’s a train scene where multiple people start gushing blood from ripped throats and heads, but no one blinks an eye. A face being torn off just signals Mr. Busy Businessman to get back to his crossword. This manga should have ended after the first volume due to the crap…

Based on what you said, put it down now and never look back. The first volume is superb, the art overall is great, but the character reactions destroy this manga. That reaction you described are the majority of reactions throughout the entirety of the series and the manga becomes unreadable because of it.
