What exactly was their strategy, accuse the judge of being anti-rape? Is that something that is a controversial stance?

Y’know, it’s generally not a good idea to piss off your judge, and this really seemed unlikely to go their way. I can’t really imagine what their strategy is here.

I keep hearing she was ‘overwhelmed by nerves,’ etc. I think it’s more likely that she’s dealing with PTSD- puking is a common symptom especially when reliving the event. It undermines the seriousness of the situation to say she’s just got charming ‘nerves’ or ‘stage fright.’

I’m with you 1000000%. I am also with the people who made the point that it is horribly irresponsible to clone a pet when there are millions of unwanted animals in shelters that need homes. But I can also see how grief will drive a person to do very stupid things.
