Thank you, too. That said, despite my comment, I do believe that nuclear power should be considered as part of America's future energy supply as we try to become more energy-independent. Hopefully, we can all learn from what's happened in Japan as our culture becomes more and more energy-consuming.

I agree with a lot of the comments about the quality of the scientific explanations of radiation, but I disagree with the tone of a lot of the comments making light of the issue with references to "life being dangerous" and "driving is dangerous". Sure, there are risks all around us, but I do think that people have a

"Father Gabriele Amorth [...] claimed that the sex abuse scandals which have engulfed the Church in the US, Ireland, Germany and other countries, were proof that the anti-Christ was waging a war against the Holy See."

I didn't watch the video, but I am so culturally illiterate that I thought they were talking about a song by the prog-metal band Jesu.

It might be true, but "funny" is a stretch.

Ah, thanks for the correction. I don't use youtube on my phone much so I thought there were Hulu-type ads before the videos.

I don't know if Google actually has an obligation to allow everyone else to see their metadata in order to make all versions of an application of the same quality, since they are the owners of that data. It is definitely a little weird to let Apple's phones access it, but I'm not sure if it's exactly illegal. I mean,

Even if she suffered under her horrible parents, it's a shame no one noticed and reported the bad parenting to the authorities, possibly saving this girl's life and giving her a better future elsewhere. At only 3 years old, she still had a long life left to live. I've known people that have healed after childhood

I have friends who write off any comedian who has ever said a "rape joke" and your comment reminded me of how funny Sarah Silverman's bit on The Aristocrats was. Or the classic: "How many feminists does it take to screw in a lightbulb? *pause* THAT'S NOT FUNNY!"

I should have been clearer. I was actually replying to the commenters who immediately made excuses and started hating on countries other than the UK.

Hey, don't be rude! It's rather immature to get so offended by a silly survey that your first reaction is to bash another country. Listen, Netflix and Hulu are pretty cool and all, but we still don't have Spotify or affordable healthcare. The Wire/Firefly were wicked, good shows, but The IT Crowd blows The Big Bang

Has anyone noticed that throughout all the articles about this situation, there have been many comments here trying to downplay how big of a deal this is because some people are worried this might reflect poorly on nuclear power? It's like as the situation gets worse, all I see are more and more excuses for what's

It's all good, dude. I'm with you on correcting misconceptions and I'm in a technical field myself that has a lot of incorrect public opinion swirling around it all the time.

I'm not a fan of the man, either, judging by practically everything I've written about his stupid political & cultural commentary. The man does have impeccable taste in vehicles as expected by Top Gear dudes, but I would prefer if most tv personalities stuck to what they know best.

This is interesting. Thanks for the informative post.

I dunno. I think the Metroid games on the Wii have been great. FPS on the Wii haven't been great, but Monster Hunter Tri was solid. Both Super Mario Galaxy games are fun. Same for the New SMB for Wii. Twilight Princess is much more enjoyable on the Wii than the Gamecube. WiiFit was a best-seller, though I didn't

I'm like you and own products from most of the major brands, but I gotta disagree with your opinion on people commenting about things they don't like or won't buy. You can be respectable and dislike a product. Just because I won't buy a certain product it doesn't mean I might not have a worthwhile opinion on its

Me neither. That's why I like how Asphalt allows you to use touch controls to turn instead.

If there are so many radical, left-wing operations working against Rush Limbaugh on a daily basis, I think he deserves more credit for triumphing over such adversity. /s

Well, think about it. As a dude, the only time people talk to me in stores are when employees are trying to help me find something or sell me a warranty. I usually don't have to deal with unwanted attention or advice from other customers, and I think that's actually rather nice.
