@OgilvyTheAstronomer: Word. Meego makes me think of "Amigo" more than anything else. It's friendly sounding!

@icfan: Well, it's part of the natural process (according to a thinkquest.org article: [library.thinkquest.org] that degradation of organic matter by methanogen bacteria release methane because it's a natural part of the carbon cycle. The question to ask is how much more or less of an impact is it when methane

@atrus123: Me too. I wanted an iTunes alternative that had Amazon MP3 pricing, but with a better UI and device integration similar to Winamp.

@Matt0505: I'm with you, but I want to see what the iPad2 looks like first. Does anyone know when we should expect Apple to drop that?

@ddjeffries: I dunno how user-friendly you can get before you lose customization options in order to simplify the user experience. It's a fine line to tread.

I would pay $40/year for a similar delivery system from the NYT.

@Colin Wheeler: Link? I thought Sergey and Larry just designed a smaller version of the search engine while at Stanford and just kept tweaking it.

@mrbungle1975001: "Update: Some of you may have recognized a similar story in 2008 which was wrongfully called a hoax. It wasn't. Various publications apologized for calling it a hoax and retracted their posts. These new pictures (and additional footage) will also be featured in an upcoming episode of Human Planet,

@dibs ODDJOB: F'realz. This dude is so good at what he does. I had gone through a lot of the other popular comedy podcasts before I found him and I'm really glad I did. Adam Carolla's podcast was occasionally funny, but every now and then he'd make himself sound like an idiot when he'd chime in on race and politics.

@jcrane2: I'm with you. I wish I was old enough to have been in DC during the early years of harDCore.

@PedalOnTheRight: Awesome! Never saw or heard this before. I had only heard the Clash version.

@jdf2: Hokiez, we are everywhere.

@Instantpontaneous: Even if Verizon drops prices on some of their phones, they will still be too pricey for me. I would love to be on Big Red, but last time I checked there wasn't a family plan that included text, talk, and data in one affordable package like T-Mo and Sprint. It's a shame, too, because Verizon has

@Lupus_Yonderboy: All geeks have a bit of envy for newer, shinier things. When I bought my laptop last year, I wanted it to be the awesomest version of itself, but then Lenovo had to go and update the line. Those bastards! I kid, but really, it is kind of a silly emotion to be upset that newer technology comes along

@ProudGeek: I think your dream is still valid, as you have the advantage of having citizenship in a Western country (i'm assuming). Not that that is your only good quality, but you gotta "use what your momma gave ya".

@theGreenCabbage: Well, this phone doesn't come with a 100080p XXSAMOLED screen, front/rear/sideways-facing cameras, or Android 10.1. Until they get all that straightened out, it's complete FAIL, IMHO.

@KamWrex: I was going to reply with something from the great masterpiece "Run Ronnie Run," but I see from online movie quote repositories that Joe Dirt wins this battle.
