@KamWrex: This comment is a meta comment about your comment and wondering why you're trying so hard to look smart on a comment thread.

@fairyvexed: Yeah, I was also a little disturbed by people criticizing the placing of gameboys in the coffin. Let people grieve how they want to grieve and no need to make a smartass comment about it.

@fyngyrz: I disagree. It gives the reader some background on the attitude and focus of the man upon whose scientific/personal opinions Ferris bases a lot of his book's advice. It's also entertaining, even if it's probably not factual.

@buttnugget: Never trust a man who dresses up his cats for Halloween.

@vinod1978: I agree completely. For anyone who is interested, here is a link discussing S. Korea's strategy with broadband and why they have just about the fastest and best-built internet infrastructure on the globe ([articles.cnn.com]

@The Werewolf: "I found the acting leaden, the plot repetitive and overall, not very amusing and forced."

@Chroma3000: Maybe he wants the 11 inch version? I think they only offer it with up to 128GB.

@Celtic1888: And then someone will claim that any competitor could come in and dig up the streets to put down cable and start their own internet service without facing exorbitant zoning restrictions and fees imposed by the will of local government officials in the pocket of Comcast. It's so easy to start your own

@MayorBloomberg: I agree. I know it's unpopular, but sometimes I wonder if an approach to broadband to bring it affordably to everyone in America (so that we'd be at the same level the Japanese, Koreans, and Nordic Europeans) in much the same manner as how we built the highways of America some 60-70 years ago would

@Se7en_speed: The other side of that is content providers doing the blocking, like when Fox blocked its internet tv from Cablevision subscribers because they wanted to increase licensing fees to $150million from the previous years $70million. Net neutrality doesn't apply here, but maybe it should?

@Se7en_speed: I want the same thing, but I fear that the local cable internet providers will block programming in certain markets and the XBOX solution will have all sorts of limitations depending on where you live.

@Return of DaOtter: "You have the moral imperative to stand up for your principles, but not at the cost of others."

@kkozinski: You're not being forced to wait behind those people in lines, either. You could have driven, taken a bus/boat/bicycle/walked/stayed home. Being inconvenienced by other people speaking their minds is the price you pay to interact and travel with the rest of the population sometimes.

@Platypus Man: I agree with a lot of what you said, but I think it's selfish to worry about what "conveniences" you when a lot of people really do care about this issue. I'm personally agnostic on the issue of scanners and would probably go through them the next time that I travel by air, but I'm not bothered by

@Daver73: I'm with you, Daver73. Not that I agree with all of the protester's methods, but most successful protests in history "inconvenienced" somebody. Sorry that people can't speak their minds and stand up to the system without making some impatient people wait a few minutes more in line. Some things are more

@thenewperson ain't so new anymore (imagine that!): Does Google Docs have a limit on the files you can put up on the server? I dl'd DropBox, but decided not to use it because my school/work files are already over the 2 GB limit for free DropBox service.

@atrus123: I've heard that Hulu Plus sometimes lacks certain shows like Fringe that are only the free web-only Hulu. Have you found that to be true?

@TheCrudMan: Totally! I won't downgrade to streaming-only because Entourage and Dexter don't get the most recent seasons on Watch Instantly, so I have to accept the price bump. No love for the loyal customers?

@hbuzzell: The only thing that sucks about this is that I still have to get DVDs to watch shows like Entourage & Dexter (only seasons 1 & 2 are streaming right now) b/c they are not entirely on streaming yet. So, basically this is a great deal for streaming-only people and a $1 price increase for those of us who want
