@Super Chill English Bro: Nice bike! I ride a SS myself as fixies rough up my knees (two surgeries under my belt). Keeping it simple is where it's at.

For anyone that was a wasteoid in the 1990s and enjoys more of a "stoner-esque" brand of humor akin to the movie "Wet Hot American Summer", I'm a huge fan of the podcast Uh Yeah Dude. It's really amusing to hear the stories told by John Larroquette's son and the banter between John Jr. and Seth is pretty hilarious.
@inverts: sorry double-post.
As a grad student, I would happily pay for a nicely designed app for Android that would allow me to access my Office files from the cloud on my phone. It probably wouldn't make sense to look at powerpoint files on a 4 inch screen, but I could see it working well on a tablet.
@GhostAmongMen: I'll take your tech-lust and raise it to include an iPad, a Galaxy Tab, Notion Ink, RIM Playbook, and an HP Slate. :-)
@CMYKfellow: I've actually been really curious as to why there is such a prevalent backlash against bezels by tech enthusiasts on these blog sites. We need places for our fingers to go when we hold these wondrous products. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a practical reason behind hardware manufacturers centering…
@freakboy9: My elementary school friend did this in front of me once. He intentionally hyperventilated and leaned on a door so that he wouldn't fall when passing out. I thought he was faking it, but I guess he got a high off of it if this is such a popular activity? It scared the crap outta me at the time.
@AnalogDan: "This is a crap gadget. It's the Jitterbug or Life Alert of smartphones."
@minibeardeath: Anytime there's a post of a D.I.Yer doing something rad on his/her own, it's inevitable you get commenters whining how they could do better or they've seen it done before, etc etc.
@pagan_god: This would be nice for people using projectors, but I think in practice most people use projectors along with laptops, so projecting video and audio wirelessly tends to be less of an issue. At the university and in research presentation rooms where I've sat for lectures, the projector is either right next…
@Magnetism: I'm not a fan of prudish policies, but you're right; it's the right of any website to enact whatever advertising restrictions it wants because they wouldn't exist without the income. If the American online advertising industry, which caters to a more socially conservative demographic (I'm actually pretty…
@Serolf Divad: I think a ball pit would be a more cheerful reminder of days past. In fact, I would have just asked for a Chuck E. Cheese's built into my house with the whole shebang, skeeball, arcade machines, and all.
@OMG! Mike Zuniga!: I wish they would. Isn't it true that the darker plastics are stronger than the white variety? Giz did an article about chipping in white iPhones and Macbooks not too long ago. [gizmodo.com]
@Arken: Why is eating something you wouldn't otherwise kill any worse than wearing the skin of an animal you wouldn't kill? I could see you make a case if you just didn't want it inside your body, but that's still use of the animal.
@MaliciousH: I have no idea what his ethnic heritage is, but dude's last name is "Romero"...
@ridgecity: It's not wrong. It's an analysis based on the self-reported information people put on a very popular dating website, and it reflects that dating website's demographics. In particular, a lot of the people on OKC live in densely populated urban regions of the country where there are a lot of singles. …
@bananafishtoday: While you bring up many points I agree with, I think you're failing to see the unintended positive consequences of the epublishing model. His business might be providing a service to countless talentless writers looking to get their work published and it will most likely result in way too many books…
@Arken: According to Engadget's review, they said $399 in September ([www.engadget.com]
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Perhaps the storage skimping is to make sure costs are low. In another article I read that this will be only $399 at launch. As someone who cannot justify the cost of an Ipad, but could justify something that costs as much as a netbook, I would buy something like this since I already enjoy my…
