I understand all these comments about the extra time needed or desired for quantity; honestly, I don’t think that has anything to do with this delay. They jammed too many things into the schedule before it, and now with the strikes those other items HAD to be finished.

They could have just given the writers and actors what they deserved early on in the process rather than trying to force them into hardship so they’d give up.

This is arguably the filthiest character Oldman has played since Sid.

Specifically, he managed to retain 10 -- to force a face to stick across a regeneration.  Not sure if they’ll make anything of that, but this face seems to be especially stubborn.

i mean no normal person cared about thanos either. the issue is majors, not kang.

You don't have to lie by implying that you ever watched the show in the first place.

That was more keeping the face rather than returning to it. It’s been a while, but I think it was something like he said he didn’t feel done with that incarnation, so he just focused really hard on keeping it, whereas this time it was a standard “let’s see where this goes” regeneration, and the process turned up the

It looks like Marvel Studios’ plans [...] are solidifying behind the scenes… or they’re undergoing even more upheaval and are less solid than ever before.

It is the exact kind of thing you’d say if you wanted to turn down a project about a black lawman but wanted to be...gracious about it. I’ve no doubt he heard something along those lines. “Market’s saturated, by the time it comes out the genre will be dead again, thanks for coming in”.

It never made narrative sense why the Armorer would have turned. It made more sense for Axe Woves to have turned, not the armorer. I think people just expect nonsensical plot twists from their big genre stories these days, probably even moreso since JJ Abrams got his grubby little hands on Star Wars.

I’ve read comments from wheelchair users saying that they particularly LOVED that they showed the character crossing her legs, because it dissolves the assumption that wheelchair users are all paralyzed from the waist down.

“Spy stuff” but carried off by losers desperate for a second shot. But I can see how maybe the lot of them are an acquired taste.

Most articles in the AV Club these days, regardless of what the author meant to write about, are actually articles about how the author is desperately unhappy.

So that’s what this thread was missing: some good old fashioned racism. Thanks, ghoastie.

The Art of the Dodge

No matter what you think of Star Wars this confirms it.
