For a movie based off a series of silly shorts in Rocky and Bullwinkle it’s a lot better than it has any right to be.
The episode where they revealed Rhodey was a skrull aired over two weeks ago.
Agreed. Though I’ve been primed to defend evil, scenery-chewing Don Cheadle ever since I saw him play Captain Planet. When you’ve got an entire species of shape shifters, it only makes sense that at least SOME of them would be hardcore method actors. Pretending to be such a public figure would be easy.
if the actual conclusion is being kicked down the can.
“Brad Pitt is a character actor trapped in a leading man’s body.”
As always, a great post on George of the Jungle and the fact that it’s a female-gaze goldmine:
Um Green Hornet is DC, is it not?
I hadn’t even realized that. So her plan was just to trick the audience then?
We really need to stop saying this kinda shit because even though we are talking about terrible people there is no need to insult them with the comparison. After all, the Nazis were at least classy mass murdering assholes. And say what you will about Hitler but the man did kill Hitler. Trumps only taking out Trump…
100% Rocket Racoon smokes weed. And probably Tony Stark.
“Your honor, we argue that calling our client ‘a middleweight intellectual’ is pure defamation. Anyone can see he is an absolute dunderhead. This harms his brand immesurably.”
ive met the real timothy dalton and you sir are no timothy dalton
IANAL, but it might be a literal impossibility to defame Donald Trump.
Though another thing in this article that doesn’t track is the presumption that Skrulls couldn’t fake the need to use the leg assistance braces/devices.
Also. wearing a hospital gown only means that he was in a hospital at the time they took him (and didn’t dress him, I guess). He could have gone to the hospital multiple times with his injuries. Even after Endgame. The fact that he needed help walking and had some leg function when released from the Skrull pod, but…
Minor She-Hulk spoilers:
The MCU reaching the “Vanessa was a Fembot all along” phase of its continuity, I see.
It also shows the director wasn’t paying attention to continuity when he made the show. At the end of Civil War, we see Rhodey trying out the Stark leg braces to help him walk, and we see him using those leg braces for the rest of his appearances through Endgame. He’s still disabled; he literally needs this mobility…
