Brian O’Conner’s farewell in the end of 7 was good enough for what they had to improvise. Don’t fall for the idea no one ever dies in movies. It didn’t work in Star Wars Episode IX, and it felt weird and unethical then. If you need Brian back in the franchise that bad, just recast him.

I think the FF fandom isn’t nearly as toxic as other long standing franchise fandoms; such that, whatever decision is made, they will be ok with it, even if the actor sucks or if the AI is sub-par.

I miss the guy, but man, haven’t they said goodbye to him several times now? I mean, I guess it makes sense with this supposedly being the last one. I just can help but think however they do it it’ll feel kind of empty, like it did when his car drove up at the cookout.
To date, the best “Fantastic Four” movie put to screen was “The Incredibles.” All the other Fox films never got to that level. So as much as I loved the FF, I’m taking a wait-and-see approach.
They’ll then remake the live action remakes as animations.
