Not being smug (honest!), but the moment Jimmy affirmed Grace’s determination to push Donny off the (metaphorical) cliff I knew there was only one way the season was going to end.

What I’m getting from this review is that John Wick is like Pizza, even when its bad its still pizza.
I’ve never seen someone so dedicated to calling out common sitcom tropes in the exact system in which they’re explicitly supposed to exist.
“Why are these things happening in the thing they’re supposed to happen in? It’s very upsetting!”
FYI: The dudebra (account: dudebra-parody-account) imposter account posting here in this thread is NOT the long-established account user known in the Giz family.
They wouldn’t have had the Titan kids steal one of the museum ships because that would mean they’d A- have to build new sets and B- keep them accurate to the old sets and have more than four lights on at any given time. Plus, the Defiant and HMS Bounty don’t have holodecks, so they can’t use the bar set anymore.
He reloaded all of the time and they talked about how many bullets the clips carried.
Set phasers to “love me”
I don’t understand some of these commenters and their complaints. It’s John Wick and at this point you know what you are getting into. If you are a fan of well made action and martial arts films these are must see movies.
“You can’t disappoint a picture!”
Is Meg White a good drummer?
Frodo, Sam, and Rosie Cotton - Frodo and Sam are obviously in love but Sam wants a family. No real reason such a generous hobbit as Samwise Gamgee can’t love two people in two different ways, though I expect Frodo and Rosie to have very little to do with each other outside of Sam.
I was likewise distracted by how blasé the clubbers seemed to be throughout that sequence -- if the SNL writers are on top of their game, this could be fodder for a spiritual sequel to the Waffle House sketch
yes explain narrative tension to me, a person who has clearly never read a book or written anything in their life, this is very good information and not at all subjective in any way.
The European wars of religion are somewhat analogous to the gang fights over territory resulting from an actual cartel breaking down.
I once told my kids that Shepherd’s Pie was made with real Shepherds, and now they won’t eat Girl Guide Cookies.
So you didn’t bother to watch it, huh.
I don’t know about a department within a college, but I recall years ago some economist writing that that the NCAA is a cartel which manages to coordinate not to pay their student athletes anything, and that schools coordinate their financial-aid decisions in a cartel-like manner, which the law permits as they are…
Well, I guess that Chelsea fans had to strike back after they were depicted in the episode as warm and welcoming to a beloved former player.
Life on the playground isn’t all too much easier, my guy.
I don’t understand why they do this. Does it really cost a lot to keep a show on a server and available for viewing? Some of it is rights related, but it’s hard to think they couldn’t work out a deal with the rights owners for very little money. I mean, whoever holds the rights to these shows isn’t making any money…
