Aftermarket has preemptively ruined this idea. I see several cars each day that strobe the 3rd brake light no matter what. As a fact one of the local Ford dealers adds this to most of their cars so they can squeeze a little extra $$$ from their customers

Also in OK. I can’t recall seeing a patrol car with the hood up in quite a long time, but they used to do that regularly in the SW corner of the state during the 1970s / 1980s. (Was the use of dash cams widespread then? I honestly don’t know.) Maybe there used to be overheating issues with the cars of that era. Maybe

Me too! I got rear ended twice in stop & go traffic on the highway last year. My new rule in that situation is if I can see the person behind me clearly more interested in looking at their phone than the road, I’m going to pull off onto the shoulder, let them pass, pull back into traffic and let them hit the other guy

“Makes you want to jump out, grab the phone and smash it on the ground right there.”

Jeep Cher-Okie and Grand Cher-Okie.

Oklahoma City’s C&C typically has a patrol car or two hanging out near the main entrance. The vast majority of participants had always played by the rules, but morons will be morons. A couple years ago we were treated to the sounds of high RPM burnout coming from the road as a car left and two seconds later we heard a

High-five from another Ironman!

ADVICE NEEDED: Cars & Coffee is tomorrow. Should I wash the road grime off The Mustang GT today so it looks presentable -OR- wait until I get home tomorrow and hose off the road grime and blood at the same?

This is the first vehicle I ever drove. My dad bought it new and kept it for decades. Once he was older and becoming frail, he often joked about the ‘power’ steering, “It takes all the power you have to turn the damn thing!”

I had a ‘75 fastback with the 302 and I can tell you that was plenty enough power to make it a solid 10 second car without modifications.*

Waze would be much better if they dumped the stupid points system. It would take care of a lot of “car stopped 20’ away from the shoulder.” It would also keep the Point Queens from reporting every police car like they are playing Slug Bug. I’m sure people report cops driving in traffic as Traps. Heck, often I see a

What a chicken poop reason to write a ticket. I don’t know which is worse, “It’s crooked” or “I couldn’t read the name of the state and even though I’ve just seen eleventy-billion others that have that same background, I just don’t know what state it is.”

You think that’s bad, my neighbors just did this with their house. They moved out everything except “garage junk” and walked away. Didn’t even call to turn off utilities.
