I only include one if the posting says to include one. Otherwise, my e-mail indicating my interest serves as my "cover letter".

Impressive. Most Impressive.

Amazing work, and inspiring. I look at that costume, and I look at my baby boy, and I think... "I've got five years to train up before this gets real."

Great tribute, and the kind of thing that makes you want to be a better person to people in your own life, which is a legacy as admirable as all the things Gwynn did on the field.

Thanks for taking time to share it. I'm sure it took a while to put this together and you wanted to get it all just right. All the comments

David that story is very close to mine, I had the chance to work for Tony at his school in the 1990s, I also had all my walls covered in Gwynn memorabilia and wore 19 as many of us did. Ah but only at the Destination Star Trek in London a couple of years back, could you go onto the classic bridge and if you were of a very lucky few, Kirk himself would be waiting there for you. So glad I went, even if my attempt at imitating a Spock look for the photo was very misguided! LOL!

"Of course, we got lazy after a few decades of this," Sergeant Davis patted the plastalloy flank of the Qinetiq Talon BM426, "Using these brutes for police actions in developing countries was easy. Aside from improvised EM pulse weapons and explosives that blew sand and grit into the joints there really wasn't much

I could not agree with this more. Can you image a Wonder Woman movie directed by Kathryn Bigelow? Amazingness would undoubtedly be apart of it.

This was an excellent and affecting story, but I must say I stand in awe of the following sentence, which by itself makes the entire super-long piece worth the read:
