Most economists are not worried about the ARA stimulus package causing high inflation. Janet Yellen isn’t worried. Jerome Powell isn’t worried. There are some economists who are worried, but it is very much a minority position. The most prominent holder of said minority view is Lawrence Summers, who was one of the

Hey, take it easy on the C3. It’s a beautiful shape. It was an excellent platform for its day until we rightfully banned tetraethyl lead from gasoline and had to spend a decade figuring out how to make power without overly polluting the atmosphere. Chevy also was forced to make it meet bumper standards that no one

What is the problem with the 2nd gen GTO?

It’s a bold take from the Honda Fit community, I will say that.

That is a remarkably stupid idea.

People want cheap produce. This is the cost.

I just wish appropriately aimed headlights were a thing.

Did you read the article or just skip it to post that?

December of 2014 my wife and I are driving to California for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years, my Grand Cherokee had been nickel and diming us so I traded it for a 2014 RAM 1500 at the same dealership where I had purchased 3 or 4 other vehicles. I tell the dealership we are leaving in 3 days so if there is

Found the dealership owner. Selling cars isn’t essential. Fixing one? Yep, sure. But selling one doesn’t make you a hero.

Ps. The dealership model is fucking garbage. Get bent you bootlicking shit for brains.

I wouldn’t even do that.  I’d start with chemical resistant Tyvek and a full face respirator.  I wouldn’t even dilute the bleach we’ll be using to spray this thing down with.  After it’s been completely soaked and has baked in the sun for an hour, then you blast it with the power washer.

Have you met the average American?

Here in Finland less than a quarter of cars have AWD and it snows everywhere. It’s not an issue unless you are an idiot.

Bradley Brownell has always and will always be a bad journalist.

Alright. Now how about a retraction of that scorching take on the Indy 500 from yesterday?

Source?

Redline is 7300RPM. Many cars have variable redline based on engine warm-up temp. FWIW, BMW officially lists the M340i at 4.4 sec to 60.  This isn’t intended to go against the C63 AMG, M3, or RS4.

It is about more than 0-60, which is a fairly useless metric in itself anyways. That low redline is probably for when the car is cold, and gradually shrinks as the oil gets warm. The engine is capable of north of 8kRPM IIRC.

IS500 is a cool name for this. It tells you exactly what it is in the old tradition of alphanumerics actually meaning something, and it means those mad lads stuffed a 5.0 into the little IS. I’m not gonna get hung up on the F Sport part.

You have to admit that CR ratings are far better than Jalopnik commenter anecdotal reliability ratings... which are based on tears and disappointment from people buying 15 year old German cars and expecting the tech to work like new.
