I should have checked yes, but why are there results for BLUE when I search for RED? The first results now are “Customers also shopped Amazon’s Choice for…”. I don’t give a shit what someone else shopped for. Where’s what I searched for? After that BS, the 5th item returned in the results is for the wrong size Amazon

Ah, this makes sense. I was looking for a certain type of battery, and saw there was an amazon basics version, so I ordered it. When it showed up, I realized it was the totally wrong battery. Why did amazon put that battery in the search results? Noticed it looking for another battery too. Now I have to be careful

I guess just watching that ‘sex and the city’ clip put me in that mindset. Also having thought of a kids name before you were planning to have kids. George Costanza is the only guy I’ve heard of who’s done that.

Totally out of my element here (I’m a guy), but why would you ever tell anyone your babies name before the kid is born? You want someone second guessing you?
Once the kid is born, everyone has to say “That’s amazing!” Before that, someone’s gonna say “oh, that’s...... different.” Now they have months of judging you

Came here to mention the stand right/walk left on the metro escalators.

Rumors were the taycan base will be like 75k. This is the Turbo model, which is always WAY more than the base model.

A Porsche dealer friend told me this: Tesla isn’t updating the model S anytime soon and it’s getting long in the tooth. If someone wants to replace their model S, the Taycan is the best place to go. Electric, and the cool new thing. I think they have like 20k orders for the taycan already.

Chase Sapphire Reserve with the Chase Freedom (3% on the first $20k) for other stuff, rolling the points into the sapphire reserve.

This is also about a mile from a Porsche dealership. That’s probably where it came from.

And Tesla can drive it self, I haven’t heard anything about porsche doing that and I’m sure it will be far behind tesla.

didn’t Jim Carrey just play ace venture in a different outfit for this movie?  This movie is going to bomb for more reasons than just the weird Sonic. It seemed aimed at kids that never saw Jim Carrey before.

Check your account. Even without signing up for UP, you’ll be automatically enrolled in ‘selects’ which is the part that allows them to track you.

I just checked, even though I didn’t have verizon UP, i was signed up for selects. I guess it’s an opt-out thing, no way I would have signed up for that crap.

Isn’t ‘verizon up’ just a way to get you to sign up to allow them to track your usage and monetize your data?

Isn’t this exactly what Skiplagged was created (and got sued?) for?

We need to make it clear that these apps and services don’t pay shit, and that you should leave a tip. In a restaurant, it’s well known that servers don’t get paid much at all outside of tips.

ahh, so that’s why everything freaks out at work when I turn off a monitor. I’ll often have one stop working, so I turn it off and back on, which then causes the other to stop working. Seems like I have to power them on at the same time to get things working right.

It’s like you read my comment on the previous space article, and made a post about it. :) The US had done a few manned orbits, and Kennedy challenged them to do something much much harder, and they did it.

I found this to be true with alcohol almost all of the time. It’s often cheaper to buy at the local store than at Duty Free. I only buy stuff that is unavailable at home.

It can be country dependent too. I was in Thailand and wanted to bring back some Thai alcohol. My flight connected through Qatar, and I was not allowed to bring more than a few shots of alcohol. If my flight went through Korea, I would have been fine to bring a full size bottle or two.
