I’ve used this method to clean my car and my driveway. It only works if its’ been very cold before the snow, so that the snow doesn’t stick to the car/ground. You also need very light snow.

Could it still transmit data (maybe not useful data)? I think it’s interesting that people can point their computer and an SDR at a satellite and pull data. Could we do that with Kepler and at least say “hey I found it!”? Might be too far away for an armature to be able to see it with home-sized equipment though.

OH man, the HTC Evo. I found my old one a few weeks ago. At the time it was GIANT. Now, it seems SOOOOO tiny. I used to play with that kickstand all the time in meetings, I’m sure it annoyed my coworkers.
That link does not have a picture of an HTC Evo though, it looked like this:

I purchased a used BMW from a non-dealer. Whenever I brought it in for service, I did get a free loaner, but only a random POS from their enterprise fleet. Chevy HHR, Ford Freestyle, etc.  If I had bought from a BMW dealer, I would have gotten a BMW as a loaner.

it’s weird that I find more interesting and educational shows on YouTube than I do on the discovery/history channel.

I dig into the comments on pretty much every article, and it’s always a shit experience. Load more, load more, load more. OMG. I’m sure most comments are never seen.  It’s amazing how popular kinja comments are considering how bad the system is to view them.

You’re so right. The night mode makes explorer look crazy.

Yeah, it’s not IE and doesn’t support the enterprise features that IE had. My company is not upgrading to edge because it doesn’t support some sharepoint features. A lot of enterprise users are Luddites, and need features that the web interface doesn’t support. Microsoft wants to be hip and cool, but most of it’s

Even getting the right ODB2 code reader for an e46 working is tricky. The osb2-USB adapter is less than 10$, but it takes some tricky driver work to get the software to work on windows 10.

Totally agree. Google/gmail has gone backwards on security/features. You just have to remember that they aren’t on our side. They want to make email tracking easier because they’ll sell more ads.

I was originally super excited for a manual Guila Quad. Then they canceled the manual, and the reviews said they are REALLY unreliable. No thanks. I bet the resale value of these is terrible. Nobody would want to touch an out of warranty one.

I kinda figured that phone numbers were really only required for tracking purposes. We all know some website is never going to call me, and I wouldn’t answer it if they did. Phone numbers are something you carry with you for life. You may move, change your name, or get a new email, but you’ll always keep that phone

Wow. that guy is 89. How many octogenarians are still working on complex math problems and can still comprehend them?

I was looking at my local Alfa dealer. Their online prices are $10k off MSRP. That’s like 25% off before negotiations. Yikes.

My GF crashed a scooter and had to get about 30 stitches in her upper lip. Doc did a great job though, very little scaring.

There was a second scooter death this weekend in Dupont Circle in DC. Scooter rider was hit by a car and dragged about 50 ft under the car. He died in the hospital soon after.

Your link to the movie doesn’t work.

My father had an Arnolt Bristol Bolide before I was born. Shortly before his wedding day, his friend/mechanic crashed it into a telephone pole and trashed the hood (one piece aluminum with a hood scoop). It sat in our backyard under a tarp and never drove again. He sold it when I was really little. I’m sure he would

I purchased a light switch (LCD, alexa control, all sorts of stuff), as a pre-order. Now that it’s shipping the company had increased the cost $50 directly because of tariffs. It’s a small company and they can’t absorb the costs. It could easily kill the company.

Apple, and tech companies should add tariff fee to
