doesn’t look like a car that anyone will remember or care about in 5 years.

I heard this exact same sentiment from another DC resident. It’s been a great distraction.
I’m pretty disappointed with the Washington post right now. You have to scroll pretty far down their webpage to find out the caps won. G7 summit? who fucking cares, the CAPS won!
interesting that they bleep out the ‘he brings a gun to school’.. things have changed a bit since 2000..
damn. I got a ticket in VA going 83/55. No reckless.
Some places in VA are just assholes about the reckless thing. It’s not required, that cop could have written you up for a little less and not given you a reckless (or written you up for 81, and not given you a reckless).
uhg. twitter. So, now that 280 characters isn’t enough we write things in Notes and tweet screenshots? I hate that shit.
I love the “It’s the software’s fault” reasoning. Usually coming from someone who uses it once a year and doesn’t understand that it has to support many use cases, not just theirs. Like, sure I get that you don’t like this feature, but a dozen other frequent users LOVE it.
Just curious.. do you have children? Seems like most people I know who have stopped smoking, it was when they had kids.
The idea of picking a ring without their input seems crazy to me. Whats the best thing to use as a placeholder? Should you hold off on telling friends/family until you have something to show? Seems like telling people also involves showing a ring.
I’ve seen super chargers at Summit Point raceway. I assume they wouldn’t put chargers there if they didn’t expect you to use them.
I’ve had a company approach me to give them 5 star reviews. They have sent me a list of a few products If I buy them and leave a 5 star review, they’ll refund me the money.
I’ve just ignored it. I’m half tempted to leave bad reviews, but I guess that’s the same as leaving a paid review.
I wear a Rod Langway jersey to the caps games. I wonder how many fans remember that guy as a player not just an old guy with a mustache that does some of the intermission stuff.
I had a manual transmission car that required 91. When running on 87, it got about the same MPG’s, but I often stalled it because it had less power than I expected it to have.
I’m curious what kind of car it was. I guess that makes a big difference. I’ve had 2 bmw’s and raced a few others. One of mine was ‘street legal’ and driving it around I always felt I was fucked if it was ever in an accident without my helmet on.
You’ve never sat in a race car eh? The cage bars aren’t that far away from your head. 5-point harnesses are not comfortable, even in a race suit. No way anyone is going to fully strap in driving their daily. Not to mention that race seats are not well padded. getting rear ended in a race seat is going to give you…
Emissions testing is required to register a car. Safety inspections are not. It would have had to have passed emissions though, but even that’s every 2 years. If it had passed emissions recently before he hacked it up, he’d have been fine. Also, being a ‘94, he wouldn’t have had to pass emissions again, since it would…
The 4th gen was an amazing car with an awesome interior.
Side note, she had been riding a Lime Scooter in DC. From what I’ve heard from riders, they all have worked great.
My GF loved riding these things around town. She’d walk out of her way to pick one up to ride them.
A few weeks later, she was going a bit too fast and fell. A taxi ride to the ER and two dozen stitches in her lip later, she’s almost good as new!
The NTSB is not a regulator. They can only make recommendations. Those recommendations are not enforced (though I guess some other agency/state/city could make a law to enforce the recommendation)
There’s a Jiffy Lube joke in here somewhere....
Seems like an odd place to go after a basketball game. The hooka bar next to the jiffy lube and an urgent care, miles from the arena.
