I’ve had a company approach me to give them 5 star reviews. They have sent me a list of a few products If I buy them and leave a 5 star review, they’ll refund me the money.
I’ve just ignored it. I’m half tempted to leave bad reviews, but I guess that’s the same as leaving a paid review.

I wear a Rod Langway jersey to the caps games. I wonder how many fans remember that guy as a player not just an old guy with a mustache that does some of the intermission stuff.

I had a manual transmission car that required 91. When running on 87, it got about the same MPG’s, but I often stalled it because it had less power than I expected it to have.

I’m curious what kind of car it was. I guess that makes a big difference. I’ve had 2 bmw’s and raced a few others. One of mine was ‘street legal’ and driving it around I always felt I was fucked if it was ever in an accident without my helmet on.

You’ve never sat in a race car eh? The cage bars aren’t that far away from your head. 5-point harnesses are not comfortable, even in a race suit. No way anyone is going to fully strap in driving their daily. Not to mention that race seats are not well padded. getting rear ended in a race seat is going to give you

Emissions testing is required to register a car. Safety inspections are not. It would have had to have passed emissions though, but even that’s every 2 years. If it had passed emissions recently before he hacked it up, he’d have been fine. Also, being a ‘94, he wouldn’t have had to pass emissions again, since it would

The 4th gen was an amazing car with an awesome interior.

Side note, she had been riding a Lime Scooter in DC. From what I’ve heard from riders, they all have worked great.

My GF loved riding these things around town. She’d walk out of her way to pick one up to ride them.
A few weeks later, she was going a bit too fast and fell. A taxi ride to the ER and two dozen stitches in her lip later, she’s almost good as new!

The NTSB is not a regulator. They can only make recommendations. Those recommendations are not enforced (though I guess some other agency/state/city could make a law to enforce the recommendation)

There’s a Jiffy Lube joke in here somewhere....
Seems like an odd place to go after a basketball game. The hooka bar next to the jiffy lube and an urgent care, miles from the arena.

He did post a picture of the ‘evidence’.. it wasn’t very conclusive.

If you want to get charged by the time it actually takes to do the work, don’t go to a dealership (or any shop?). Everyone Charges by the labor hour book. Sometimes it works out in your favor (got an old car with rusty bolts?), sometimes it does not.
I’ve worked with shops that charge based on the time taken (race

Ehh, the problem with everyone using just the right most lane is that it puts a lot of stress on that lane. I’ve driven on some roads where the trucks are slow and forced to use the right lane. The grooves in the road are so deep that you don’t need a fancy new car for auto pilot. Merging to an off-ramp across those

I know a guy who did endurance racing on his own. When his car ran low on gas, he pulled into the track gas station and filled up. For lunch he just stopped and ate, and went back out.

Endurance racing is where it’s at. 8 hours of driving per driver per weekend, split costs across 4 people.

Now playing

I think it’s like GIF. you can trust the people who created it, or make up your own pronunciation.
If you want to go by the people who created it (and therefor should decide how it’s pronounced), it’s JIF or Por-shua.
If you want to make up your own thing, it’s a hard G or one sylable.

My house was the same. the workshop garage was so full of crap I couldn’t get into it when touring the house. during inspection I found out it had it’s own electrical circuit with 240v outlets and a central vac system. I guess it wasn’t in the listing because it had a POS old taurus in it, and a hoarder level of crap

right! My house listing had a 3 car garage. Only picture was from the outside. There is a 2 car, and a 1 car next to it that is a workshop/garage. When I toured the house, that garage was so full of crap you couldn’t even walk into it. It wasn’t until I went to closing that I found out it also had a separate 240V

did they report all the VIN #’s? How many of those were stolen from someone’s garage and put in a shipping container to asia?
