There used to be a line item veto, which allowed the president to veto small parts of a bill, but it was declared unconstitutional by SCOTUS. The idea was to allow the president to veto these types of add-on items.

I agree with your points.. somewhat.
#2 would probably give them a raise. Congress makes about 175k/year. Factor in having a DC house and a House in their district and they aren’t making that much money. Also factor in that a lot are lawyers, so their congressional salary is a paycut for many. Retirement is the same…
I think it’s like GIF. you can trust the people who created it, or make up your own pronunciation.
If you want to go by the people who created it (and therefor should decide how it’s pronounced), it’s JIF or Por-shua.
If you want to make up your own thing, it’s a hard G or one sylable.
My house was the same. the workshop garage was so full of crap I couldn’t get into it when touring the house. during inspection I found out it had it’s own electrical circuit with 240v outlets and a central vac system. I guess it wasn’t in the listing because it had a POS old taurus in it, and a hoarder level of crap…
right! My house listing had a 3 car garage. Only picture was from the outside. There is a 2 car, and a 1 car next to it that is a workshop/garage. When I toured the house, that garage was so full of crap you couldn’t even walk into it. It wasn’t until I went to closing that I found out it also had a separate 240V…
did they report all the VIN #’s? How many of those were stolen from someone’s garage and put in a shipping container to asia?
As someone else mentioned, doctors are good at their one thing, and almost nothing else. Ben Carson spoke at my college graduation (back when he was famous for being in ‘Stuck On You’ and not for being a politician). He spoke about doctor stuff, and he seemed very smart. Wow was I wrong.
This is the problem. I live in a MAJOR metro area, and the nearest dealership is 200 miles. From my office, I can see a Mclaren, Porsche Alfa, and a Tesla Dealer. Lotus needs more dealerships.
I wanted to check out Lotus. I live in the DC area, and the nearest dealership is somewhere in NJ. wtf. I have a Cayman because there are a few Porsche dealerships within a dozen miles.
Yeah, Also if you’re a tow truck guy on a hot track, you don’t want to be fiddlin around trying to tow someone. Hop out, attach a rope, and go. Safer for the tow guy, and faster for everyone else who wants to get back to green flag racing.
Right? Every race series I’ve run in requires front and rear tow hooks and you are towed off using a rope. Do drift events not have tech inspections and tech requirements?
I’m surprised they don’t require a front tow point. Usually they just toss a row rope on the front tow point and pull you off the track (This is how road race events work. don’t know why drifting would be different, I would expect wrecks to be common at drift events).
Maybe you should have written this article :)
that’s amazing. I give no F**ks about retweets.
Copy+paste did not work though. I had to fix all the quote’s, and then it worked. Maybe if you use single quote instead, the font wouldn’t give you those fancy “” type quotes that code doesn’t like?
If you have $100, you can buy one share of microsoft stock (and have some money left over for the transaction fee).
have you done research? There are tons of mutual funds where the initial investment is 1-5k, and then after that, maybe a $100. If you put it in an IRA, the initial investment is maybe $100.
Microsoft most definitely does sell one stock. You can definitely buy one share of a company.
Your statement of how much money…
Correct. Once they get married, things change (if they file jointly).
Think about how you apply this on taxes too. If it’s entirely in your name, and you claim it, you’ll get the tax benefits too. You’re SO might be paying half, but you’re taking the deduction. Or, don’t mention this, and keep that sweet sweet money to yourself. :P
You could invest in a pressure bleeder. Brake fluid + a pressure bleeder is going to be much cheaper than paying someone to do it. Brake fluid is SUPER cheap, even race fluid is less than $20.
You’ll also laugh when you see someone bleed the brakes by pressing the pedal. A pressure bleeder makes the job SUPER easy.
Can an individual’s family sue the opioid manufacturer if their family member overdoses and dies? (I don’t know, I’m asking). I think that’s the more direct comparison.
With guns, there’s no legal limit on the number a person can have. If a manufacturer knowingly sells a million guns to one person, that’s fine. A…
