oh man. Have you seen how the throttle linkage works? It’s the most complicated thing I’ve ever seen.

uhh, only thing I’ve heard of to watch out for is the double timing chain. the early 380sl’s (pre 84?) have a single row timing chain that can stretch or break. Many older cars have been converted over, so just the year isn’t necessarily the only way to identify the potential issue.

They exist. You can put an SD card in them. They also have ones that are bluetooth adapters.

Tape adapter.

Why do my blinkers work, but only the left side works with the emergency flashers? I haven’t been able to track that down on mine yet.

There were a few different model #’s, but the R107's he’s talking about are all the same, except for engine. A 450SL, 380SL, 560SL - you wouldn’t know the difference without opening the hood.

I have an ‘84 and I get compliments all the time. People ask me how much it’s worth. They don’t realize the Camry they are driving is worth 3x as much.
The funny thing is that they didn’t age. Unless you know the model #, you can’t tell if it’s 45 or 20 years old.

NP. Buy it, cage it, race it. If I didn’t already have a car, I’d run this in AER next month. Actually, hm, my race car is acting up, this may be a more reliable and faster way to go.

Interest rates are so low, getting a 15 year loan is stupid. Get the 30, put the difference in the market. When you’re finished paying off, you’ll most likely have come out ahead. that extra 15 years of putting money in the market should be a lot, not to mention the extra tax savings you’ll have.

Ah. Yes, there does seem to be a rear seat cushion.
Still expired tags though. Hope her insurance is still active!

Did the 380SL have rear seats? I have a 380SL and it does not. I think they were an option? She was driving on expired tags and had 2 kids in the back.
Also, that red Ferrari T-shirt is wrong. It has a mustang logo on it and misspells Ferrari. Is that a joke, or a cheap from china shirt?

True, they are not rare. They look awesome though, and yes they drive like a floating turd.

Did this 380SL have a rear seat? Mine doesn’t, it’s an option.
She backed into a Ferrari, driving on expired tags, with 2 kids in the back of a car that I’m not even sure even has rear seats. She’s a winner.

I will say though, that 380SL is much cleaner than mine.

nah. I have a 380sl. they are all auto’s. there is NO way you’d confuse R for D.

uhh. no. I have a 380sl. it’s auto. there is no such thing as a manual 380SL.

Back in the minivan days, a valet backed our car into something and broke the rear window. They proceeded to cross hatch the entire window with tape so that the glass would stay in place (it had shattered, but was still there).
When we left the restaurant, the valet brought the car and we got in. If my dad didn’t have

I saw them play a side stage at a festival ones (early 2000's). They were Terrible. Lead singer was so drunk he was slurring his words. I was disappointed.

Hey man. My E46 has only had the coolant system, alternator, starter and valve cover replaced in it’s first 100k. Those are normal wear items right?

I would bet there is a correlation between fraternity brothers who call their house a ‘frat’ and disgusting fraternity houses.

I played this went and did other things. I started thinking, man, who is this? Sounds like Jamiroquai. I should listen to some Jamiroquai. It took me a minute realize why you said JK.
