I forgot how many times I did this in my old 4th Gen Prelude. Saw the tach go past the end a few times, so 9k+ rpm. No problems and eventually sold it at 175k miles. Motor was a beast! It was the non-Vtech H23.
Spent the winter swapping the motor for MORE POWER!!! Finished up a few days before the race, car ran good!
Are these the same as adaptive headlights that actively turn when you turn the wheel? I love adaptive headlights!
Every time I get in a car that has the radio volume controls on the right side, I want to punch the engineer that did it.
Is this stupid font part of this website? I thought my computer was broken. it’s TERRIBLE. Can I bold the entire site so that I can actually read the words?
I wonder how this math works out on non-econo-shit-boxes.
You can drop the clutch at idle in 4 low, and the car will not stall. it just goes. You’d have a hard time stalling out on flat ground in 4 low.
Agreed, there is room for all. All three series’ seem to be doing well. And there is a lot of cross between them. Lemons is a fun event, chump is racing with a 200 page rule book, and AER is race whatever you want but it better be fast.
Haha, yup. That’s the incident. I was driving the 300ZX that got hit. Is it that well known? It was almost 2 years ago now. Sadly, the rear facing go-pro on the car ran out of battery about 20 minutes before the incident. We can argue for days about why it happened, but with so many cars and so many drivers you can’t…
I had someone put their front tire on my passenger side mirror. We both spun out and I was hit by a second car in my driver’s door. Luckily, it wasn’t too hard and all the cars and people were fine. It happened because there were 5 cars jamming into the braking zone and the guy behind me ran out of space and didn’t…
The other race series are slightly more serious, but really they are for people that want to show up, race, and go home. Not spend 20 hours before each racing fixing up some damage caused by having too many cars on a track. I would love to go back to lemons, but I can’t convince my team that we should risk our car…
Only people who don’t race lemons think that the $500 rule is anything more than a rough suggestion. Very few cars are anything near a $500 car. I haven’t seen a $500 bmw e30 in ages, but lemons is full of them. Lemons is more about having a good time with a fun theme’d car than it is about having a car that only cost…
Funny you mention that. Just last night I saw an ad for a new show called “Cuban Chrome”. Check it out.
Crank.
My company has an open position for an F-18 Avionics Technician. You should apply. I sent details to Tyler.
