I had FM4 (loved it), then did Horizon 1 & 2 before getting FM7. I really enjoy FM7 and I’m not sure what I’m missing that people don’t like about it? I mean the loot box aspect, sure, but that hasn’t really affected my enjoyment of it.

This is the kind of tech I would love to see make its way to electric vehicles in some way. Yes, there’s no actual shift points and there’s a bunch of other potential “issues” that could come up I’m not thinking of... but it would be cool to drive to town in a Ferrari V12, drive back in a Voodoo V8, etc. Fake? Yes.…

I mean honestly if we change “real estate companies” to “the people” or “the state” - that’s essentially how it would work under an idealistic form of communism.
But we don’t have to get into THAT debate here haha. Personally I don’t think any of the systems would ever work in their “pure/idealistic” form due to human…
I can agree with that sentiment. If we assume no other system is possible for the sake of discussion, I guess I personally would rather see everyone being able to afford to actually live than to have a wider variety of options. But yeah that’s also not fantastic on its own.
because they are the only ones that can actually afford to pay living wages?
Yeah they’re officially “Bronco 2-Door”, “Bronco 4-Door” and “Bronco Sport” and you’re not alone on that opinion.
It’s a Bronco Sport, the smaller version. It’s basically a more-capable crossover. The article is talking about the full-size Bronco.
Since it’s set in Miami, I think it does make sense. Classic muscle cars don’t really draw attention for the most part there - it’s more about glitzy supercars.
That’s a mild car for a rich kid to get... I knew someone from a rich family whose dad bought her an Aston Martin Vanquish in high school.
I work in about 12 different series and for a lot of them, you’re right that talking your way in is pretty easy. NASCAR and F1 are the two that I find to be... let’s call it more challenging due to how strict they are at the gates. But if you can manage to sneak in I’m definitely rooting for you haha.
The problem is that none of the security team at any track, other than maybe the head of it, gets paid enough to actually risk the headache of asking someone to put their mask on. If they even care to do so anyway.
NASCAR is special hot pass access only for the garages even pre-pandemic, and they’re still pretty restricted now. So that’s gonna be a no on that.
Didn’t expect to see a StarCraft reference this morning so thank you for that.
This feels like something that should not be possible and yet even worse, I fully believe it even so. So it has zero to do with sticking with their ship and all to do with literally not allowed to leave. Holy fucking shit.
So in my opinion, the bulk of your take here, which in return I will tell you I also appreciate, can be traced back to this initial question of yours about external stimuli.

One of us will get you, fam.
I’m gonna pick this reply to be the one to respond to. Look, I’ll say upfront that I don’t think you’re an outright racist. But you’re being systemically (if it helps you, this is the kind where it can be unintentional) racist and your privilege is showing, a lot.
Well aware of both cases. There’s still room for weird within regs and your aforementioned swaps typically already garner the same kind of attention that such a vehicle would also do.
