Bill Maher has literally always been this way.

The only narrative reason that character talked to them at all was to give them further opportunities for body shaming and for us to share their "discomfort" as *gasp* having to talk to a person whose body they didn't approve of.

Agree. I really wish someone had reviewed this who could have separated their like for Bunheads/Foster from the actual GG show we received.

I watched the show well after the original run, so was largely isolated from the "April is annoying" commentary. I didn't find her annoying at all (just, you know, a child), and most of the "April is annoying" sentiment seemingly comes from people who resent the wrench she threw into L/L's relationship. Luke

I really think it's irrelevant whether Bunheads fans enjoyed the musical - this was not the Bunheads revival. The whole bit felt forced, unfunny, intended to provide time for people who were never part of the GG world, and ultimately not that well done. I like musicals, but I'm not looking for Hamilton actors to show

So if someone is brown…and gets browner…you don't think "quite brown" could describe that…interesting.

Uh, Black people tan as well. It says more about you that you think they don't than it does about Hermione.

"What else should you do in Tennessee? Does Graceland have central air?" Maybe, but since it's 4-5 hours west of Manchester (itself in "middle" Tennessee), good luck with that.

Exactly.

Recognizing "some improvement" is quite different from suggesting that "the period when people thought sexual harassment had to involve physical contact and that women had some kind of incentive to lie about their boss’ unwelcome advances" has passed. The first is possible; the second is laughable to most women, and

"Why does Hollywood keep deleting women’s faces from posters? Misogyny, including the belief that women's bodies are mere objects for male consumption." - That's it, that's the whole thing.

None of this explains "It’s fascinating and maddening to glimpse a period when people thought sexual harassment had to involve physical contact and that women had some kind of incentive to lie about their boss’ unwelcome advances."

*peeks through the curtains a couple of days later*

Book Hermione wasn't white. Rowling herself tweeted: "Canon: brown eyes, frizzy hair and very clever. White skin was never specified."

I really cannot fathom how a list of the worst tv of 2014 would fail to include True Blood's nonsensical final season.
