It's just so sad that white people claim to have been the inventors of almost everything and yet they still feel the need to copy other cultures, you'd think they'd be happy with their own if it was so amazing.

Oftentimes, with comments like these, the main issue is projection.
I said only Islam has been a political system since day 1 of its calendar, for its entire calendar, and still is today.
Thank you for your civilized response! I'm sorry for being so rude in my original reply to you.
A typo? You want to chastise me for a typo, and yet I'm the one who isn't "smart enough to form an argument"?
You're honestly going to sit there and tell me that no other religion outside of Islam has ever (or currently) started off and subsequently gained momentum through political warfare?
My apologies for making that assumption. Not that there's anything wrong with being white. Anyway.
There is plenty more "vitriol" in Islam than in Christianity because it's not a religion. It's a political ideology. People are being stoned to death and hands are chopped off for theft TODAY.
How do you know they didn't try to remove it? That any requests to implement this weren't just ignored and/or denied?
There's already the Hindu symbol Om to the left of the Star of David though. And even if it had been meant to signify Hinduism again, it would still have been chosen knowing about the other, far more commonly understood in the language the text is in, meaning of the swastika, and I'd find that not okay
I know. However, that's by far not its dominant meaning in the Anglophone world today (and this graphic is in English).
Oh, I def. agree with you. I wasn't being serious with my first comment.
Now, I'm not trying to say that this very blunt porn = rape equation is what the general consensus is among women in this and most countries. However, I do think it's trickled into the modern era of popular feminist belief in the way that a nude or scantily clad female image meant to be displayed for a man's pleasure…
LOL! It's cool.
Exactly. She's in charge of her sexuality. She owns it and embraces it. Bey's inviting us into her world...giving us a sneak peek to that side of her; zero fucks will be given to those who vilify her for it (and too many people are missing the point, especially on this site). She is a grown woman, after all.
I linked someone to your posts in a comment...was that OK??
Agreed. Except I need to work on my hair. Like, a lot.
Tee-hee. I'm glad I had you worried at the beginning.
The biggest problem is that when this perspective is reversed, there's no problem. This is a clear cut example of treating women's sexuality as empowering and men's sexuality as demeaning.
Do you have any Kahlúa?
