I totally agree with you.

A. I think it's irresponsible science journalism to not at least link the article or abstract when reporting on a topic. Especially if none of the authors have any backgrounds in science and/or statistics. Additionally, a lot of Jezzies (including myself) do have science backgrounds and would be interested in looking

I think if we actually were able to see the scientific paper rather than read the results thirdhand, it would have been much clearer what the population was (and variables and such). In no way is this a criticism of you, because that information wasn't clear at all. Jez should do a much better job with their science

Jez should start posting the actual scientific paper (or at least the abstract) instead of "science speak" reporting by the presses. It's very irresponsible to do otherwise.

As a Michigander, this makes me extremely angry and sad.

I'm from Michigan and I absolutely support the Snyder recall efforts and will vote to recall him. However, the current Republican Party (and yes, this was true in 2010) was not about small government and money savings plans. Anyone who thought they were is kidding themselves. Sure, maybe they told their constituency

Hmm, yeah.

I wasn't talking about people like you (see my second comment!).

First, I'm from the Midwest (Michigan actually) and I see that I forgot to add that to either of the above comments. I was joking about voting Wisconsin out because the vast majority of the Midwest, save for a city or two here and there, is just as embarrassing.

You refuse to blame Wisconsinites?

Ah, Scott Walker.

How do medical professionals feel about this (ie. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and/or the American College of Nurse Midwives)? Are they generally of the mindset that it won't hurt and it could help? Or do they discourage women from doing this?

Watching this clip, how does anyone hate Ann Curry (I don't particularly care about the other lady)?

My Uncle calls her Bouncey too, haha.

I mainly was referring to the social Republicans, and that wasn't entirely clear in my previous post.

Double standards are fun, right?

But hey, if women are barefoot and pregnant and in the kitchen, which is totally where they belong, that means more jobs for hardworking men, right? I mean, why should a man have to compete for jobs with qualified WOMEN?

Nadya Suleman is ashamed to be on welfare, yet she wasn't too embarrassed to get on the Today Show and tell all of America.

You better preach!
