I don't think that Breast milk is very effective past 6 months. I'm looking for a source to cite, but from papers I remember reading and immunology courses I've taken, I don't think there's much of an effect past 6 months. And by 5, a child has their own immune system.

I think they meant Acute Kidney Failure caused by disease or dehydration? Which would make more sense, seeing that it is generally more reversible (I'm not a Med Student, but a Human Biology major), right?

Nope. Wasn't just you. I hope she meant a Pediatrician who tells you to give the baby Baby Tylenol when they have a cold rather than getting a Z-pack. I was just shocked when I read those comments. A homeopathic doctor is one you should leave. EXTREMELY quickly.

I fully agree with you and I definitely stopped reading after that line. Any Pediatrician who doesn't mandate the vaccine schedule and suggests that homeopathic medicine is better than antibiotics (unless we're talking about not taking Z-Packs for every cold, which I support) is not one I'd have around my child. I

In Lil' Wayne's absurd interview with Katie Couric, he said something that resonated with me. He basically said (and I'm paraphrasing and summarizing) that the only people who should be looking up to him are his children and that if you are so desperate to model your life after someone else, you ought to re-examine

She hired Gloria Allred?

Snaps to you. I agree with everything that you said. I'll admit that I am not a fan of Blue Ivy, but it's not my baby.

Her name is Blue Ivy Carter, which everyone who is freaking out (myself included) thinks is terrible. Ivy Blue wouldn't be so bad.

My friend just posted this on facebook. This is probably one of the sweetest things I've heard in a while.

Well, until health care becomes less of a business and more about providing health care to all, hospitals will always bend over backwards to cater to the rich, sadly. And if I had as much money and fame as she does, I'd probably rent out a hospital wing to give birth in too.

I don't think they're completely innocent, but it's not Beyonce's job to make sure that people can see their newborns. It's the hospital administration's. They had advance notice that Beyonce was coming in to deliver and they should have worked it out to make sure that people still had access to the NICU.

I mean, she said herself she was 6 months on September 23rd in behind the scenes footage of Countdown. I also have no reason to believe she lied about this either. I'm pretty sure she was full term when she delivered.

My question for you is why you think Beyonce's baby was anything but term?

"Because it is a really serious surgery and there could easily have been complications for her or the baby. When having a C-section, you really should be in a hospital with access to all the medical help you need." This right here.

Yep. Michelle Obama is a better woman that I am, because the level of hate, disrespect and mockery that her family has been subjected to is unprecedented.

I'm pretty sure Beyonce was full term. She confirmed that she was 6 months pregnant on September 23rd. So, she'd have been full term by now. I'd imagine that there was some other sort of complication that she had that necessitated a C-section.

Why are we blaming Beyonce for this situation? She just had a C-section yesterday, she likely didn't know what was happening. If we all want to heap hatred upon someone, direct it towards any hospital that allows celebrities to rent out wings and a system in general that allows the wealthy to receive better health

Yep. If I could have a year-round show of AHS with Constance, Tate and everyone else, my life would be complete.

See, that's the problem. I don't know how I feel. I'm not sure if I actually like him or like the idea of having someone (I think it's a combination of the two). I suppose I'll just keep waiting to see how things go.

Haha, it has always been so easy for me to realize that about other people's relationships, but very difficult to notice in myself. I suppose I should just keep waiting to see.
