Wow, it's nice to wake up from a nap and a paper writing session with a star!

Not only did you miss the point, but are you kidding?
Infertile Women's Bill of Rights (because obviously commenters on this site need to see this)
When you're reduced to making fat jokes about someone much more relevant then you, you have not won.
I really dislike the whole "trendy name" trend that's been happening. And unusual spellings are even worse. What's cool now will kind of be weird when Nevaeh is your son's teacher, Mykynzie is your OB and Kaiyden is your lawyer.
So, 3 weeks ago, I decided that I wasn't going to Medical School. I have been miserable taking all of my Pre-Med classes and I just don't want to deal with the debt, delayed gratification and the stress so I can be an MD. I mean, it's been my dream for 20 years, but I guess dreams change? Sigh.
I know, right?? I miss the days when women weren't given TV shows because they managed to get knocked up by a basketball player or a rapper (I'm looking at you, VH1).
But I love the adoption concern trolls!!
I'm actually going to start a consulting firm where companies can hire my employees to read over their product proposals and ad campaigns, since no company in America seems to have anybody around to point out how problematic or offensive things might be. Any and all ethnic/gender studies majors can and should apply…
Yep, it is.
I LOVE her. And I am so proud that there are still people in the House who stand up for women's rights like this.
VOTE IN 2012.
Where are the people lining up to wear Beyonce's maternity line?
So, one issue that I have is that while I'm very pro-science and vaccination, I am wary of any new drug/vaccine that comes out. This is because clinical trials just have no way of testing enough people in the population to determine duration of immunity, adverse events and full effects on the body.
Meh. I still have issues with children and teens being able to get a vaccine that is so new (ie. we haven't seen the results of Phase 4 clinical trials, and we won't for a while). Gardasil, and its whole marketing campaign, makes me very uncomfortable.
"But then, I think waiting staff are generally paid pretty well in the UK in comparison to the US, so it's probably related to that."
AMEN.
